Nakakatuwa ang lovestory nyo. Sana wish ko lahat ng napapangasawa ng mga kapwa ko Pinay/Pinoy eh halos katulad ni Kuya Jake. Ang hirap talaga ng LDR naranasan ko rin sa aming mag-asawa nun magbf 3 yrs at nun ikasal 5 yrs naman. Now mag 9 yrs na kaming magasawa magkasama dito sa Canada.
I admire foreigners who can speak fluent Filipino. His intonation and accent is spot on Filipino.

I love this. I love hearing the Tagalog language. My mom, who was Filipino, passed away in 2022 so I’ve been studying and listening to Tagalog so that I can take her language with me for the rest of my life and give it to my daughter as well. So that we can both always have a piece of my mom with us.
My advice to you guys; teach your kids Tagalog. Insist on it! it has become my biggest regret that I never properly learned the language and that I couldn’t speak to my mom in her native tongue.
Maybe that can be a topic in an episode? What are your plans, if any, for teaching your kiddos Tagalog language and culture?
Communication and trust are good key to healthy relationship. Kuya Jake tried his best to learn the language of Jessy and did it great…that is why he relates well with her. Jessy understand and trust Jake in what he does serving him always. God bless to both!

Inter racial or not, marriage is not a bed of roses, there will be challenges, it's going to be a bumpy ride. I was married to an Indian decent, he's from India, of course I am a Filipina, he was 20 years older than me when I married my husband and my best friend.
Sadly he exited this world ten years ago. I don't think I can find anyone better than him, reasons I stayed single since bc, I didn't find anyone to match his ability to care for me. I am happy, nonetheless bc I still remember and will always treasure the best life I had with him. Blessings to you both.
