Justin, great to hear about the new channel, I have subscribed this instant - Also it's beautiful that you and your wife are going out to film and photograph different cities, that sounds like an adventure I definitely want to see. The story about your camera getting the meter messed up by the repair person who didn't know any better, and then you having to travel the longer distance to your reliable friend who then repaired it, that's gold. Thank you for sharing the gold Amigo.

That’s so funny. I grew up and still shoot film so as your video progressed I kept thinking, “Just stick it back in, dummy”, lol. In the 70s when most people only had one film camera, it was pretty common to swap film mid-roll.
I’d never considered how a digital shooter would think!

The thing about running the film twice through for double exposures is trying to keep the registration of frames somewhat consistent between run-through. Otherwise you have (at worst) framelines midway through your images. You can try marking the frame at the edge of the film gate but there’s usually some slippage. But go for it!

Going down the film rabbit hole as well. Looking for a Rolleiflex TLR right now.

Just shot my first roll of 120 with an Rolleiflex. It could be the version B.

Amazing video! What lens are you using on your M6?

No no no , I looked it up before … you turn the roll backwards“ inside until you hear it click against the slit , leave it there , lick a piece of film from another roll , stick in the roll of which you want to pull out the celluloid like 2-3 inch and pull out ! Done

Just the tip, Justin. That's how much you have to pull out of the film canister... ;)

They sell a Film Leader Retriever for people that develop their own film or people that change film mid roll but wind the roll into the cassette. The way it was done on your roll requires experience and extreme patience 😂

I dunno man. Too much status in those Leicas.
