This How-To Video shows the safe process to reset your PC back to factory default configuration. This process will restore Windows to "like new" condition and wipe your personal files from the computer.
If you are selling your computer, make sure your personal files don't go with it. This process takes a few hours, but it completely and forever removes your personal files from your hard drive or solid state drive.

Thanks for the guide. I reset with a USB recovery drive. When I reach the blue screen "Let's start with region..." can I remove the USB and force shut down the computer? Is everything now ready for the next user to setup?
Complete the entire setup and Don’t remove USB. Next user to setup PC the OS setup is differently configured

Product key agar digital license hai to wo permanently bind ho jati hai motherboard ke our next time jab tum PC format karti ho aapko vapas license key nahi dalni padati wo automatic activate ho jata hai.

After resetting is it necessary to login with offline account. Or can I just shut down it. later the new owner may login accordingly.
You will have to create user- for the user creation prompt for new user/owner will have to modify some settings in bootable file
Sir , i have doubt in ur video that after resetting pc its asking for who is going to use pc?...shall i stop in this case..because somebody gonna use this laptop if i sell . Should i proceed after this or not? Or what i have to give in this case
You can provide next person name as user name and complete the process. once everything done handover the PC to buyer.
After reset my laptop then can i handover the laptop to person whom i sold or anymore settings have to do pls tell?
You can handover it to next person after performing said steps
One clarification. When the windows resets itself does it ask for the USB windows 10 installation copy
While resetting PC no need of USB windows 10 media.

Is wifi password will stay in the pc after reset if wifi password also got delete then how pc will download the window 10 automatically is there any need to provide the wifi information again while reset
All Wifi password will be removed during reset process, your system doesn't required WiFi password because it doesn't download new setup file since it's just resetting the settings.

Yea, it’s works but their might be some limitation when you perform few steps but I never tested without windows license hence can’t comment.
Will resetting pc also clear the browser passwords and accounts?
Yes it will clear browser password and everything like fresh installed machine.
If I reset my laptop, will it ask for any Windows Product Key on startup?
No It won't ask.
I am selling my pc but it don't have original windows so after doing this will the person whom iam selling this will have to install windows again or only setup?
With these steps nothing will happen to your Windows- as far as your not formatting the OS Drive

Are the files recoverable after resetting all the date, if someone use software like recuva, are the deleted files recoverable??
I've wiped out free space of my ssd using ccleaner, also it was providing only one pass bcz i have a ssd..
I've sold my laptop to cashify today, but worried that what if they try to recover my personal data 😅 .. wht do u think??
When you reset the PC, some files still accessible using professional software like stellar and not the traditional. so relax no one will recover your data.
For your information: When we format PC 7 times then only all data gets erased from PC.

Could you please share your screen shot.
Also when you clone any HDD for troubleshooting purpose it’s always best practices to clone on same HDD like SATA to SATA or SSD to SSD and you choose same model the then it’s advantage.
@@TechnicalSpark my laptop came with a slow hdd. I added a ssd. I cloned my hdd to my sdd and made that the boot drive. But when i try to reset windows won't let me. Asking me to input a media device or something. I cloned everything even the reserve etc and system folders. My old hdd still has the old windows and is like a backup drive
As I said earlier when you clone HDD cone at same hardware which HDD to HDD with same model not the HDD to SSD because hard Drive also have its own drivers which won’t support.
So in you situation you will have to fresh install OS in SSD and then transfer all data once done now connect normal HDD if supports both HDD in your laptop and format the HDD and you won’t face any issue

Here is the answers :- 1. After Reset you will be logged out from all the Microsoft application. 2. You cannot use your license key on another machine because Microsoft doesn’t support license transfer to another machine- if your Windows10 Activated with digital license then even after format also it’s get reactive as soon as you connect your PC to Internet / if In case your using paper license then license key needs to be entered manually after format.

My laptop comes with DOS os and then I install win 10 os in this laptop
If I reset our laptop then my win os deleted or not????

All laptop initially comes with DOS Operating System only, post that some companies install Operating Systems in it. until-n-unless your resetting the PC it will not delete OS
When you format PC using any bootable windows CD/Pen drive at that time only it will delete OS.

In any of the office application go to File> Account> Signout.
Very useful ! I have changed laptop Os two times before a year. I used recovery software to check before selling mine...My laptop shows every files that I have deleted and Even every files is shown,like i used to connect my phone thru usb and all the files on that 3 phones is showing( which i used to connect thru usb before 3 years ,4 years).
How to delete these files from hard drive
there are so many options available like application file shreder
the best way is that to reset the PC as per shown in video, to make sure most of the data is deleted and it's reset the hidden hash as well.
