Maybe I didn't talk about that. I originally jacked up on the trusses, but I found it did absolutely nothing. Your right the steel on inside and out are holding everything up.

Thanks for the video. I’d like to do something like this but I have old rotten telephone poles. Do you have any thoughts how I could secure the permit through a telephone pole? It’s roughly 9 inches wide. Thanks so much. I appreciate your opinion.
You could do that, I would try and figure out an average size and order columns a little tight. You would just shave each side of the pole so you have something flat to secure your bracket to. Hope this helps
Maybe I missed it, but how’d you prevent the girts or truss from sagging? Does everything stay because of the metal that’s inside and out?
