IMHO opinnion I think its a great machine for the money. Slim as they should all be. Didnt try the key action yet but remember not being too fond of the keys on the first iteration. I do hope Studiologic gives the users a way to change the onboard sounds though.
@@jumpingman8160 oh I totally agree. But it's mostly sample based from what I understand so the control is limited and even then, the price point is just right for me right now considering all the features it has, if they added Bluetooth module for iPad control that's easily another 120$ worth of R&D, testing, etc..
It sounds really good and a nice choice of sounds in the sound-set. Though it is a subjective thing, what is the general vibe of the keyboard action? How about saving programs for live performance... can one line up their favorite sounds and access them easily?
I have to expect the action it to be quite light as in most semi-weighted actions but I'm curious about the marriage between the sounds and the action. I guess the bottom line is that this is a budget board so do not expect Rolls Royce action and features lol.
Hi. I saw comments that compact 2 has better effects and e-piano presets than 2x. may you tell please, you tried them both. I need to choose which to buy and cant try it before. So its like lottery for me. Thanks for your channel
gosh! I wasn't even thinking about buying a new keyboard until now. That grand, that Rhodes, that Organ. WOW. Just wow! Great demo by the way.
This was the only video I could find showcasing all of the sounds. Thanks.
Thanks Chuck very helpful.
Thanks for the demo Chuck. I'm gassing for one but my wife complains that I have too many boards now.
I feel you pain; fortunately (unfortunately), I got a divorce 😉
Ask her how many pairs of shoes she has. 👠 LOL
Thanks PMC.
Been waiting for this since NAMM. Want to purchase based upon your recommendation of the Numa 2 last year. I've been told November.
Some nice sounds thanks
Anyone know the waltz the harmonica was playing@ 13:50? Love that tune. Seems I remember it from an old movie.
I wanna hear the choirs :)

That's the purpose of the drawbars, to edit Sound parameters.
@@BarnacleButtock i meant via pc or a tablet. Edit: and I also meant more parameters

Does this have smooth sound transition?
How does this compare to the Roland Rd-88?
Кажется он ламповый.

Sorry, we don't make recommendations or judgments on what's "better". See our policy at ruclips.net/user/PianoManChuckabout
@@PianoManChuck sorry :(
I hear you playing Robert Glasper! :)
I didn't play anything.... these are the built-in "factory demo sounds" as the title says.
Does it have a sequencer or did you use a daw to compose the demos?
Rewatch the first 10 seconds... you'll see me hit the DEMO button, which plays back the built-in factory demo.
@@PianoManChuck got it thanks! I was hoping it had a sequencer so I wouldn’t have to pay $600 for ableton 😅 looks like a cool keyboard
I wish I could get this in something a little shorter to take on planes. Any ideas??? Thanks Chuck :)
You might want to try the Roland Go Piano or Go keys. I flew with mine as checked luggage in the box that it came with.
That guitar tuneup towards the end sounded so fucking great. The distortion ruined it
