Hi Ishmohit, Why don't you start analyzing different mutual funds categories like you do with stocks that would help a lot of people as they invest more in SIP than actual stock
Even if you reduce the SIP amount or stop SIP completely but keep the money invested you will not be too far away from you goal. In the example shown in the video, if you stopped the SIP after 6 years, you would have 7.89 lakhs at that time. At the end of 18th year you would have 30.7 lakh. (53% of the goal) If you stopped at the end of 12th year, you would have 24 lakh which would become 47.3 lakh in another 6 years (83% of goal)
Thank you Ish, please advise on the calculation of future value and is it worth taking the decision as below. 1. I start investing in SIP for say Rs 5000, and if i find that the fund is not performing well, i stop my sip after 5 years and leave the money there for remaining 13 years what will be the impact on the value? 2. After stopping the SIP of Rs 5000 and in the previous point, i decide to invest in other fund for targeting same 18 years, will there be any impact to the future value of the goal?
You have given a much deeper analysis of compounding philosophy and how SIP works. From my experience first 3 years SIP accumulated value moves almost in tandem with cost and widens gap only thereafter. You stock analysis are Outstanding resources also. Thanks.
Don't distrub your SIP....time is main important think....SIP 20k/m from last 2 yr nd will not distrub 25 yrs..thanku ishmohit ... blessed to be a tribe member soic since 2021
Thank you for watching our videos. 😃 We're glad to know this video is informative and insightful for you. We hope to continue adding value to your investing journey. 🙏
Amazed to understand the level of detailing the subject, beyond the my expectation. Just salute you for the wonderful work and willingness to present to common people in mixed language(hindi & english). I do understand hindi quiet little only, however I had gladly grasped your presentation content completely. Appreciated. The key learning, in SIP, need to start to contribute more at the earliest of the term, so that it can compound longest & highest on the overall returns. Keep continuing the good work. Thanks a lot.
Thank you for watching our videos. 😃 We're glad to know you find our work informative and insightful. We hope to continue adding value to your investing journey. 🤜
Thanks for nice info. I have one query. Can I stop my sip after say 5yrs and then after 10 yrs redeem my investment. Is it allowed ? And if yes, can you make a video on this to understand how much returns I will earn this way ?
Good Explanation. Quick question: if one of the fund is not performing well and I switch my SIP into some other fund but I let the amount invested in the previous fund as is for the planned duration while continuing the SIP in the new fund. Will it impact the expected returns?
Very helpful thanks, could you please make video taking example of individual lets say 35 years old, goal based investing, and then suggesting diff instrument where he can invest for specific amount of time and time horizon
Ishmohit you are doing an awesome job of bringing financial literacy to a lot of people. Really enjoy your deep dive into companies and sectors esp the chemical sector. Keep up the good work young man…
Thank you for watching our videos. 😃 We appreciate your support for our work and hope our work adds value to your investing journey. We'll consider your suggestion.
Hell yes Bro please advise how to start Means Which app to download Then where to go All these things By watching u I know what to do but please how to do ....
Hey ishmohit, this is great but you are not factoring in the global market trends? Should you try to invest actively and look for the best time to invest (on technical analysis)? Volatility can kill returns in the short term, and that always makes me hesitant about the long term
Nice explanation But one factor jiski bat nhi Hui that is INFLATION... Jo money starting mei invest hua wo 8-9X hoga last mei but or we can say 12% se compound hoga but 7% se uski value bhi to erode hui... Actually to 5% hi hai return which is pretty nice as per the compounding comes in the game...
The power of compounding works great on paper but finding funds or options to achieve continuous 12% CAGR is quite difficult.. As fund underperforms in between. Is Nifty500 index a good fund to invest keeping 18 year goal? Will we achieve 12% CAGR growth over long time with NiFty500

Hi and informative video. I have a query about sip after watching ur video. I am planning to have a SIP and investing 20 yrs in total. I will invest 5000 monthly for 16 yrs and decrease 500 each yr. Will that give me the best result? Suggest me.
There is no compounding in equity related / market linked products. What happens to your compounding calculations if market tanks by 50% in 7th year? Comounding works only in fixed income products.

Comounding works only in fixed income products.
Such a misconception, dividends-reinvestment of profits-sharebuybacks. All are compound effects, please at least get your basics right
Compounding is back handed more time more return.
Please do PAUSHAK analysis
