I have watched all of your videos. Although I don't keep hots I just appreciate the natural scape of your enclosures. When I lived in Philly back in the day I kept 2 diamondbacks .
Awesome content and very healthy habits in terms of not handling your venomous snakes when not needed. Very nice setups as well. Just found your channel and subscribed. Cheers!
Long form is great, shorts are most times garbage, especially mine haha. Love your SoPac rattler, I see them so rarely in collections. Your YT cribo is freaking gorgeous too! Puff adder and everything is so nice. Id like to see your boa more. Boas were my first snake ever. Your venomous responsibility is probably the most on point iv seen on youtube.
@@Hogstrictors thank you so much! I’ll definitely be showing the boa more in the future, she was just deep in blue and I did not want to stress her out any more than she already was. Thank you for the comment.
@@JohnDoe-xr7mj king cobras venom isn’t actually insanely “hot” as far as toxicity is concerned, the issue with kings is that their venom yield is very high. My South American rattlesnake has more toxic venom. I don’t really like king cobras to be honest, except for the Chinese banded kings, I would get one of those. But the indo kings most keeps have are just like a giant brownish grey snake and are kinda boring in my opinion. I’m a viper guy, I like large keeled scales, massive head and huge fangs. For me a bushmaster is the top tier snake. It’s the viper version of king cobras for most people. And yes I am absolutely getting one within the next year lol. There isn’t a single snake that is too “hot” for my liking tho. Ive had and worked with quite a few very toxic snakes. I’ve had cobras in the past and will get more in the future they’re just not my favorite type of snake.
Man the thing about fangs being in the poop is news to me. Thats the kinda info im here for. I deffo would have made that mistake. As sharp as they are i bet it doesn't take much pressure at all to go through the glove then through your skin.
@@Therealdeathdaddy yea i remember a viper keeper vid where he went to go clean one of his snakes enclosures and took the snake out and started cleaning and saw the substrate move and turned out the snake had parthenogenic babies all over the enclosure. Lol

Also have you ever looked into ways you can get a venomous collection to bring in some money outside of breeding? Have you ever looked into doing venom extraction or participating in a scientific study or something like that? Could be an interesting topic for a vid. Not many of some these animals in the country i bet there are ways to get the animals to help pay bills that doesn't hurt them or break their trust to bad. not really to be honest, this is a lifelong passion of mine. I enjoy working with them and having a really unique collection in my home. Dope collection man! You ever thinking/planning on getting something like a king cobra or too hot for your liking for the time being?
