I thoroughly recommend Liz Fraser's book 'Liz Fraser and Other Characters - My Autobiography' Published in 2012 and available from all good book sellers
I love your videos an Liz Fraser❤
I loved her in her films
What a totally amazing story of the totally amazing life of a totally amazing and trully beautiful lady.
RIP Liz.

Liz Fraser, a great, great British actress and a beautiful lady. It’s a real joy to watch her! ❤
Liz was amazing! Such an inspiration! Xxxx
.... She Always Cheered me up; just LOOKING at Her, even Before she spoke - THAT - is a 'Gift' to be Treasured; in This Troubling world!

Well this is an absolute treat for a dreary, wet Monday evening. Going to settle down with a brew and enjoy. Thanks Shar 😘
Oh my pleasure Aidan!!!! I hope you enjoy it!!!! ♥♥♥♥♥ xxxx
Amazing Lady. Tough, beautiful, and talented. Excellent tribute.
Thank you so very much! I truly appreciate that xxxx
Thank you for such a beautiful tribute to the wonderful Liz Fraser.
My pleasure! Thank you so much for watching! xxxx
Love this actress ..... And great to see you back ... Love your channel too .... 😁👍
Me too! she was truly awesome! Thank you so much for your lovely comment - it's very appreciated 😊😊♥😊♥ xxxx
What a beautiful, talented and canny lady she was. That assault was awful to hear about. But with your excellent explanation of her life and personality, of course she bounced back and rose above that and other challenges. I'd underestimated her, thanks for the lesson, so much more to Liz than I thought.
Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment! Liz was truly remarkable-so much strength, intelligence, and resilience beneath the glamour. That awful incident was shocking, but as you said, she refused to let it define her. She was always far more complex and formidable than many gave her credit for, and I’m so glad this gave you a deeper appreciation of her. Really appreciate you sharing your thoughts! xxxx
Thank goodness for the “Talking Pictures” channel. Liz very often appears on there!
It's my favourite TV channel!!!! xxxx
I always loved Liz’s work particularly in Carry On Cruising! What a wonderful tribute this video is to one of the best actresses of her day. Thank you.
I totally agree-Liz was absolutely brilliant in Carry On Cruising! Such a natural talent with impeccable comic timing. So glad you enjoyed the video-it’s wonderful to celebrate her legacy. Thank you for watching! xxxx
oh my goodness, where have you been, ive missed you. i love Liz Fraser
Thank you so much for your lovely comment!!!! I've really missed uploading and chatting to you all too! I adore Liz - she was amazing! xxxx
Hi, it's great to see you back on RUclips. Thank you for a very interesting story about Liz. She was a great actress, I remember her very well in the Carry on films and some of the shows Lis was in, as for the horrible people that attacked her, the were cowards and should be totally ashamed of themselves, I can't begin to imagine how many hours you put in investigating the beautiful Liz Fraser, once again thank you ❤❤❤❤💐 I am sure Liz would love the roses 🌹 🌹🌹🌹
Thank you so much for your lovely comment-it’s wonderful to be back! I’m so glad you enjoyed the video on Liz. She really was a fantastic actress, and it’s heartbreaking to think of what she went through. As for the time I put into the videos, it does take me quite a while to put everything together! I really wish I could work faster, as I have so many wonderful people I’d love to talk about, but the tech side of things often holds me up. I’m always learning with the editing and technology, but I love the process, even if it takes a bit longer! I appreciate your understanding and kind words, and I would love to think that Liz would have loved the roses 🌹. Thank you again for your support-it really means so much! ❤💐 xxxx
Another wonderful video, we can really feel your love of the actors shining through.
Thank you so much! That really means a lot to me. I truly love sharing these stories, and I'm so glad that comes across. Appreciate your support! 😊🎬 xxxx
A respectful tribute to a very underrated actress. Thank you.💐
You're so welcome! Thank you for watching, it's very appreciated xxxx
Good to see you back, lovely film as always
Thank you Paul - much appreciated!!!! xxxx
Good to see you back Shar
Thank you so much Cheryl! ❤️
I'd like to thank you for laying flowers on Liz's resting place on our behalf... She remains my personal favourite actress of all time ...a beautiful woman ...x
Thank you so much for your lovely comment - and it's truly my pleasure to be able to lay the flowers for us - just a little something that I can do to honour such an incredible actress - and I completely agree with you - she was so very beautiful too xxxx
Firstly Shar, it’s wonderful that you’ve returned. As the weeks have turned into months I was beginning to fear that your absence from RUclips was permanent. Fortunately that’s not so and you’re back with a vengeance.
As a hormonally-charged teen I had the delicious experience of meeting the lovely Liz once when she turned up, quite unexpectedly, for lunch at my family house. Naturally it’s something I’ve never forgotten. It came about in a rather convoluted way. My late mother had a friend, Pat, who’d taught with Mum in Wimbledon in the 1950s before I was born. Then in the late 1960s my dad’s job moved us down to Southampton. This lady, Pat, had an actress friend who worked on stage, radio and television. I can’t recall her name now because she employed a French name professionally which wasn’t her everyday one.
Occasionally this lady would stay with us if she was performing at one of the regional theatres - to save money I suppose. Then once in about 1973 or 74 she turned up on the doorstep rather out of the blue with the lovely Liz Frazer. It was summer because Liz was, I think, due to open the Southampton Show the next day. For a fifteen-year-old boy it was a seminal yet rather surreal experience having a couple of stunningly sexy actresses sitting at the dining table in our very suburban house. I don’t think we had anything alcoholic to drink because much to his chagrin my father was dispatched by Mother to buy a few bottles of wine. My dad bore a strong resemblance both physically and in manner to the late Leslie Phillips so it was a diplomatic move on my mother’s part to keep him out of the way! Ding dong!
Finally, having undergone cancer treatment myself and absent from work for the best part of a year, I know that chemo and extensive radiotherapy left me unable to put one foot in front of the other never mind go on stage.
Mark, what a beautiful comment-thank you for sharing that incredible memory! What an unforgettable experience to have Liz drop by for lunch-sounds like a surreal moment for a teen, indeed! And your mum directing your dad with the wine-classic! 😄 I don't blame her! I can't tell you how much I would have loved to have met Liz, but I'm pretty sure I'd have just been completely lost for words!
I have to admit, it’s been a bit of a challenging time for me lately, but I’ve really missed creating these videos and connecting with everyone. There’s something special about chatting with all of you about these amazing people from history. It feels so good to be back, and I’m so grateful to have such a supportive community.
I’m truly sorry you had to undergo cancer treatment and I hope you're feeling much stronger now - I thought the same with Liz, how she did it I can't imagine, but what an inspiration! Thank you again for the kind words and for sticking around-it's always wonderful to hear from you and always makes my day! 😊💐 xx
@@BeautifulBadandBizarre people such as yourself who create and upload such interesting and watchable content are what RUclips is all about for me. I wish I could recall the name of the other lady. She’d worked with so many names of the day.
That's such a lovely thing to say - thank you! 😊 If you do remember the name of the other lady, I’d love to hear! She sounds fascinating. I love hearing the stories of these people - I had the most amazing thing happen when I had my shop, a couple came in and we got chatting, and they said they knew Jayne Mansfield - and I was invited to look at their photographs - I believed them because instinctively I felt they were geniune people but I couldn't believe they had actually met her - in an 'I was in awe' way - as it were! Anyway I did go along to their home and I can honestly say it was one of the most amazing experiences - listening to their story and seeing their photographs of them with Jayne - oh happy happy days for me! It's a memory I'll always treasure! xxxx
@@BeautifulBadandBizarre in someways it’s like yesterday but I look in the mirror and, with a jolt, realise it’s not. This actress friend of my mum’s friend Pat used a French stage name. I think her grandmother had been French but I’m not certain now. She did straight acting and comedy work and had appeared with practically every name of those days. I remember she said that Dick Emery was a terrible ladies’ man.
How marvellous to log on and find a brand new, delicious documentary. Liz Fraser - what a legend! Thank you so much. Loved it. ❤
Oh, what a lovely comment-thank you so much! So glad you enjoyed it. Liz truly was a legend, and it’s a joy to celebrate her. ♥♥♥ xxxx
Impeccably researched and presented. Thank you for all the hard work you put into making these wonderful documentaries.
Liz Fraser was indeed a very remarkable woman. I always had a major crush on her ❤
That’s such a lovely comment-thank you! I’m really glad you enjoyed the video and appreciated Liz as much as I do. She was an incredible woman, both on and off-screen, and I completely understand the crush-she had such charm and presence! ❤ Really appreciate your kind words and support! xxxx
Thank you Shar💐 for a most respectful tribute to the brilliant Liz Fraser. What a resilient woman she was, with all that life had in store for her, she never gave up. A real trooper. God bless her🙏🏼💖🏴🇬🇧
Hi Glenda! Thank you so much! 💐 Liz Fraser truly was a resilient and remarkable woman. She faced so much in life but always carried on with grace and strength-a real trooper, as you say. I adore her! I hope all is good with you! xxxxx
Hi, dear beautiful Shar. And you surpass yourself with the ability of making such a lovely and deeply investigated post..thank you SO MUCH, I truly hope hope that a film producer can snap you up. My memories of Liz are when I was working down the Kings Rd and I had to walk home to putney , and down the Fulham Rd Liz lived in the only pink coloured house in that terrace. and another connection with Liz is that I was born very near where she was, the old Kent Rd.. Dear beautiful Shar. Please take care of your beautiful smile and Very caring heart .love and hugs from me to you x XXx ❤❤❤
Dear Patrick, what a truly lovely message-thank you so much! I absolutely love that you have such special memories of Liz, and how wonderful that you had that connection through both Fulham Road and the Old Kent Road. I can just picture that pink house-so perfectly Liz! I went to visit my grandparents grave on the day I visited Liz and I was actually shocked with all the changes in Wandsworth and Fulham! The pub my grandad used to drink in was all boarded up - made me feel very sad as I expect they'll be demolishing it! Your kindness and support mean the world. Sending love and hugs right back to you! ❤️✨xx
@BeautifulBadandBizarre Dear Beautiful Shar. Thank you SO much for your Very meaningful reply. Sadly ,as you know London and the history is fadding but it's the Beautiful and touching tributes you do to our past actor's/ actress's that keep them alive, and Dear beautiful Shar I have one criticism of your post's., though they are perfect in every dimension, you don't show enough of yourself., yes you are highlighting a certain person.. but not I believe , you are " The star of the story" also is a great song by George Benson. So many smiles, kisses and hugs to you and your beautiful smile, face and giving heart... love you with care and the upmost respect xXx ❤️❤️❤️😘😍
Wonderful tribute to my childhood fantasy. At 70 i still see her as a real woman, long forgotten in these times. Thank you for the time and trouble and for the eye opening story. Liz is always my old fantasy.
What a lovely sentiment! Liz had that timeless quality-grace, beauty, and a wonderful sense of humour. I’m so glad this tribute brought back fond memories for you. Thank you for watching and for your kind words! xxxx
Absolutely, wonderful, What a lovely lady she was, and what a trooper, its nice to know she still enjoyed her life though, sometimes tough times, and as usual you told her story so comprehensively, and softly spoken, thankyou ,really enjoy your vids
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm so glad you enjoyed the video. Liz really was such a trooper, and it’s heartwarming to know she found joy despite the tough times. It’s always my pleasure to share her story with you all in a way that feels true to her. Thank you for watching, and I’m so happy you enjoy the videos! 😊 xxxx
Liz Fraser was a wonderful comedic actress, she was terrific in I'm Alright Jack, one of my very favourite British comedy films. She was very beautiful but also very clever with an innate intelligence that served her so well in all her roles. I was deeply saddened by the vile physical attack that took place while she was walking her beloved dog just horrible. She was a bright star who should never be forgotten.❤ Thank you Shar for another lovely tribute. ❤️
You're absolutely right-Liz Fraser was such a remarkable talent. Her comedic timing in I’m Alright Jack was exceptional, and she really brought her characters to life with such a unique charm. Her beauty was undeniable, but it was her intelligence, wit, and depth that truly made her stand out. She was one of those rare actresses who could make you laugh, but also show a real depth of emotion when the role called for it.
The attack on Liz and Bracken was truly devastating, and it’s heartbreaking that someone so kind-hearted and brilliant had to endure such a cruel experience. But her spirit and legacy will absolutely never be forgotten. I totally agree with you, She’s a bright star in British cinema, and we’re lucky to have had her as part of it.
Thank you for your lovely comment and for watching the video - it's very appreciated xxxx
another fascinating video-Liz Fraser was a very glamorous part of the British film industry-when she died it wasn't even mentioned on mainstream television news bulletins-her name faded a bit- in my opinion because , unlike Barbara Windsor , Hattie Jacques, Sid James and other "Carry On" people she never found a regular television vehicle like a sitcom or regular drama serial- this was a shame because she was as good as any of those that did
Thank you so much! Liz really was such a glamorous and talented presence in British film. It’s such a shame her passing didn’t get the recognition it deserved. I completely agree-had she landed a long-running TV role like some of her Carry On co-stars, her name might have remained more in the public eye. She was every bit as talented, and it’s wonderful to celebrate her legacy now. So glad you enjoyed the video! 😊 xxxx
she had a lot thrown at her by life, yet handled every challenge with grace.
... good to see you back, Shar! 💐
Thank you so much! Liz really did face so many challenges, but as you say, she handled them with such strength and grace. It’s always a pleasure to share her story. So glad to be back and that you’re enjoying the videos! 💐 xxxx
How good to give such a generous amount of time to honour funny, sexy, brave Liz Fraser. Thank you. ❤
Thank you so much! It was an absolute pleasure to honour Liz Fraser-she truly deserves all the recognition for her incredible talent and strength. I’m so glad you enjoyed it! ❤ xxxx
Another fascinating video, thank you very much, that's a lot of work, so well done and hugely appreciated. What an amazing biography of such an admirable woman.
Thank you so much! I’m really glad you enjoyed the video. It was a lot of work, but totally worth it to share her incredible story. Liz was truly an admirable woman, and I’m so happy you appreciated the tribute! Thank you for watching! xxxx
What a way, to spend an awfully wet Monday evening , beautifully presented as usual, well done Shar.
So glad you enjoyed it, and thank you as always for your lovely support. It means the world! 😊☔ xxxxx
Really enjoyed hearing the gorgeous Liz Fraser’s story. Thank you 😊
My pleasure! So glad you enjoyed the video - thank you for watching, it's very appreciated! xxxx
Hello Shar , welcome back . An intriguing yet bitter sweet tale of this lovely Lady , to use an acting term she sure was a trooper . The part that tells of the attack on her and her dog is sickening . A lot of memories here as well , I could talk for hours , lol . I found something whilst tidying up a few weeks ago , A copy of Halliwells' Film goers companion . It was my Nan's bible . lol . ( now mine ) . I have many friends who like the carry on films , but a lot of the younger ones think of the singer with , This Mortal coil and the ,Cocteau twins when Liz Frazer is mentioned . Many thanks . Please don't stay away so long . Kindest regards , Tony .
Hello Tony! thank you so much for your lovely message and for welcoming me back! I’m so glad you enjoyed the video-Liz was indeed a trooper, and it’s so bittersweet remembering both the highs and the lows of her life. That part of her story is truly awful, and it’s always tough to reflect on. How wonderful to find your Nan’s Halliwell’s Film Goer’s Companion! Such a treasure trove of film history!. It’s funny how the name Liz Fraser can bring up such different associations for different generations! Thank you again for your kind words, and I’ll try not to stay away too long. Sending you all the best! xxxxxx
@@BeautifulBadandBizarre Thank you Shar . Another actress from that era that I liked was , Patsy Rowlands . I can still see her being used to test the toilet in ,Carry on at your convenience . Poor lady . She always looked so sad .
Wow what an amazing video told in such a warm & respectful way.
She lived it all and stayed so strong throughout what a legend of her own right 👋🙌💯👍

@@BeautifulBadandBizarre ❤🥰❤
A great video of a great woman , thanks
So glad you enjoyed it - thank you so. much for watching xxxx
Thank you for mentioning Liz's performance in 'Nemesis', one of the BBC's Miss Marple series in the 1980s, starring Joan Hickson. I remember seeing that when it was first broadcast and it was a revelation to me that Liz could give such a nuanced and moving performance in a relatively small role. I only knew her before as a comic actress. Another Carry On stalwart who gave a great performance in that series was Joan Sims who appeared in 'A Murder is Announced'.
Absolutely! Liz’s performance in Nemesis was subtle and moving, proving she had real depth as an actress beyond comedy. It’s always fascinating to see familiar faces in unexpected roles. And yes, Joan Sims was fantastic in A Murder is Announced-another Carry On legend showing just how versatile she really was! And I ADORE Joan Hickson too!
@@BeautifulBadandBizarre It's lovely to know that, after seeing Joan Hickson on stage in 1946, Agatha Christie wrote to her 'I hope one day you will play my dear Miss Marple'. Sadly she didn't live to see her in the part.
I, too, was glad that Ms. Fraser's appearance in "Nemesis" was mentioned. A Public Broadcast System (PBS) here in the U.S. broadcast the "Miss Marple" series a few years back. I just happened on this particular episode, and I was taken by this wonderful actress Liz Fraser who I had never seen or heard of before. Her appearance was brief, but a memorable standout. I also remember thinking that she must have been a looker when she was younger. Since then, I have seen a couple of films from her earlier career. Always delightful to watch. Thank you for sharing your lovely tribute.
Hi shar excellent delivery as usual wow Liz certainly had a great life very great story cheers 🍻
Hi Paul! Thank you so much for your lovely comment! Honestly, I found it hard to keep the video concise-there was just so much to say! Her life was so full and fascinating; I could have talked about her for hours! Really appreciate you watching! xxxx
What a wonderful lady she was and a fantastic actress 💕💕 xx
Absolutey inpsirational! ♥♥♥
Welcome back Shar and if you didn't already know it, you have been sorely missed. I've always liked Liz, especially her looks, posture and voice, but although I think she was a very good comedy actress as you say, the attempts she made at more serious roles never quite worked out for some reason. At least in the dramas I've belatedly seen on TV, such as 'The Painted Smile', which isn't great at all. Thank you for all that new information -- the cowardly assault was sickening but even that didn't finish her off before her time. She never became a 'national treasure' as we now know it, but I have a huge affection for her work with Hancock, James, Sellers et al. Best wishes and thanks to you.
Hi Michael! What a wonderful message-thank you so much! It really means a lot to know I was missed. I completely agree about Liz; she had such a unique presence, and her voice and posture were so distinctive. I know what you mean about her dramatic roles-perhaps she was just so naturally associated with comedy that audiences struggled to see her differently. ‘The Painted Smile’ certainly wasn’t the best showcase for her talents! And yes, that assault was truly awful, but she was such a strong woman - I don't think I would have ever left the house again! She may not have been labeled a ‘national treasure,’ but for those of us who appreciate her work, she’ll always be one! Best wishes to you too! And thank you so much again for your lovely comment and for watching the video - it's truly appreciated xxxx
What a lovely woman she was, I never knew this about her. She was amazing RIP Liz ❤❤❤

I saw her at a Comic Con style of event in Leicester, a few years before she passed, sitting alone in a far corner with a lot of books/photographs. It was primarily aimed at young people, all hovering around Game Of Thrones extras, bypassing poor Liz. She looked sad; I felt for her enormously but I was kind of starstruck and bottled out of it….! An amazing actress and perfection personified when it comes to comic timing. Will always regret not going over! God bless you Liz. Thank you for the video, made by a similarly glamorous lady :)
Your comment has truly made my day-thank you! It’s so sad to think of Liz being overlooked like that, especially given how incredibly talented she was. I completely understand feeling starstruck, though-I would have been the same! I’m sure she would have appreciated knowing how much she meant to you. Thank you for sharing this, and for your kind words-they really mean a lot. ❤️ xxxxx

Well my dear Shar, with all your work being a labour of love. I found this story fascinating. And once again your respectful telling of someone who we all thought we knew. Like a jem,you cut and polish the diamond showing many new facetes. In her later years you picked out some choice rolls, including Minder. I'm sure she played an underworld " queen pin " with an almost motherly love for Martin Shaw aka Ray Doyle in the professionals. Like a very elegant, bejewelled Ma Barker ❤❤ A life well lived, with many ups and downs. Had heard the Peter Sellers story, with the added note. She stayed in the flat until she'd had her dinner plus dessert 😊Being a shrewd business women she could hold her own Giving help to her chosen charities. A story that came to my ears concerned Joan Sims. Having fallen on hard times. She had asked Peter Rogers for a loan, he refused. But Liz came through for her old carry on friend. Such a fabulous, fantastic 41.52 that was. We have really missed you Shah. But we want you to pace yourself. Quality as you produce takes time and effort. So we'll wait for the next new masterpiece. Love you Allan&Family PS just thinking about my biscuit name. Not convinced that Allan Bag of Broken Bits would have got me to Hollywood 😢Cricklewood maybe. xxxx
Oh Allan, what a lovely comment-thank you so much! It means the world to know you enjoyed the video. Liz truly had such a fascinating life, and I'm so glad I could share a glimpse into it. I love the image of her as a bejewelled Ma Barker-such a great role in Minder! She really did have a remarkable ability to balance elegance with strength. The story about her helping Joan is such a lovely one-true friendship. I’m so touched by your kind words about my work; I truly appreciate it. And don’t worry, I’ll be pacing myself but mostly because I've hit that age where I have no choice lol ! 😊 P.S. I think Allan 'Bag of Broken Bits' might have made for a great Hollywood intro after all-Cricklewood or not! Lots of love to you and the family. ❤️ xxxx Oh I forgot to say - I really loved Martin Shaw back in the day! Not to mention Lewis Collins - he was amazing! xxxxx
You'll find a clip of Liz's turn on The Professionals is on RUclips if you search for it. She's rather marvellous.
Backtotheblues, absolutely. She was a classy lady. From some angles it looked like Granville with Nurse Gladys in Open all Hours
Fantastic and illuminating video.
Thank you so much and thank you for watching, it's very appreciated xxxx
Happy memories. Carry on Resting in peace.💚
Thank you for your lovely comment xxxx
Really enjoyed that. You suddenly came to mind yesterday afternoon and here we are today watching one of your lovely vids. It was good to see you. I'm with Liz in her love of greyhounds, I keep them myself. Wonderfully easy dogs to live with, they spend most of their time horizontal on the sofa.
I’m so happy you enjoyed the video! It’s always great to hear that I popped into your mind and that you’re here watching-thank you! 😊 How wonderful that you share Liz's love for greyhounds! They truly are such sweet and laid-back companions. I can just imagine them lounging on the sofa all day! My grandparents had a greyhound back in the day and I remember going to the dogs - it was a big thing years ago, a real outing! Thanks again for your kind words, it’s so nice to connect with fellow dog lovers! xxxx
A wonderful tribute to Liz l always thought her beautiful l loved her and Hattie in Carry on cabbie they acted so well together what a brave lady to go through all she did still working throughout she'd have made a wonderful mother such a loving caring person as her mother and father were
Thank you so much! Liz and Hattie were such a fantastic duo in Carry On Cabby-their chemistry was brilliant. Liz’s strength and determination were truly inspiring, and I agree, she would have made an amazing mother. Her loving nature clearly came from the wonderful upbringing she had. She really was a remarkable woman. xxxxx
Beautiful. Thank you.
My pleasure! Thank you for watching! xxxx
I was only thinking the other day we haven't heard from you. Another wonderful vid made for us. Liz Fraser was every red blooded man's pin-up, she was a great actress and brilliant in "I'm alright jack" Thankyou so much again!! Big hugs from Brum for the hard work - again!
That’s so lovely of you to say! Glad you enjoyed the video-Liz was fantastic, especially in I’m Alright Jack! Thanks for watching and for the big hugs from Brum-sending big hugs back! 😊 xxxxx
What a wonderful masterpiece. Thankyou so much. I really enjoyed this up to the time of her assault, how awful ! You take care too :)
Thank you so much! I'm really glad you enjoyed it. Yes, that part of Liz’s story is truly awful, but what an incredible spirit. She really was one of a kind. xxxx
Well Shar...YOU'VE KNOCKED THIS ONE OUT OF THE PARK ! Liz Fraser, one of my faves, and...WHAT A WOMAN ! Certainly found out some new facts about dear Liz in this video. One thing I've got to ask. Did they ever find the shits that attacked Liz and her dog? I hope so, yet, if not, "Karma Is A Bitch" to those that did. Lovely to see you back Shar, and THANK YOU for another lovely tribute.
Oh, what a lovely comment-thank you so much! So glad you enjoyed the video and learned something new about Liz. She truly was one of a kind! Sadly, no, they were never apprehended, which is just awful. But like you say, karma has a way of dealing with things. Thanks again for your kindness and support-I really do appreciate it! ❤️ xxxxx
You're in great voice Shar, have you been taking lessons? Thanks for the tribute video, Liz always stood out as shining light. With credits in Carry ons, Doctor series, St. Trinians, Adventures of and Confessions of.. not many can say they were in all those series!
Thanks so much! I'm not taking lessons, but I'm always working to improve and I think it helped that I discovered that all this time I've been using the microphone incorrectly lol So glad you enjoyed the tribute-Liz was truly a shining light with such an incredible career! xxxxx
what a great career she had, working right up until 2018 althogh her final work was probably filmed the year before, another star of yesteryear gone.thanks bbb another good video.dont think anyone on youtube makes videos in the same style that you do.
Thank you so much for your kind words! Liz truly had an incredible career, and it’s amazing that she kept working right up until the end. Thank you so much for such a warm welcome back! It really made my day to read your comment. I’m so glad you enjoyed the video on Liz-she truly was an inspiring woman, and her strength through everything she went through is something we can all admire. Her mum was such a big part of her journey, too. I completely agree-what a wonderful woman Liz was. It’s heartbreaking to think about the attack on her and her dog, it must have been horrific for her and Bracken. Thank you again for your kindness and for sticking around! ❤🎉 xxxxx
@ your amazing story teller, really missed your videos. I meant every word you deserve the praise.
I was so shocked at the part of the story when you went through this awful attack. great video celebrating a beautiful and talented actress in every way - she had an amazing figure and had acting skills aplenty - I always feel she was the precursor blonde in the carry on films that paved the way for Barbara Windsor and others that followed - amazing tribute as always Shar , and hope you are a lot better in yourself after a difficult year x
Thank you so much for your lovely comment! I completely agree-Liz was truly ahead of her time in the Carry On films, and her talent and beauty really set the stage for others like Barbara Windsor. Thanks for this Shar, loved watching it, you really did her proud. Glad you mentioned the Joan Hickson Miss Marple cameo I was sitting here thinking it might be too small to be included. I’m no luvvie but what she crammed into that small part had me spell bound at the time and I’ve never forgotten it. Also as with so many of your subjects absolutely fantastic clothes to look at. Good luck with your next one and sincere thanks again. 👍

Hello Shar🙋♀️ I was only thinking of you yesterday, that I had not seen a video of “ Beautiful, Bad, and Bizarre” recently...and here you are with a fascinating Video📹 about “Liz Fraser.” I hope you are keeping well, along with your own “Doggie Gang.” 🐶🐶🐶 Sadly I am now looking after 4 dogs, as our elderly Shih Tzu died in the New Year. Looking forward to seeing your next video 💐
Hello Alison! 🙋♀️ That’s so lovely that you were thinking of me-perfect timing! I’m really glad you enjoyed the Liz Fraser video. 😊
I’m so sorry to hear about your dear Shih Tzu-losing a beloved pet is truly heartbreaking. I think it's the one thing we all dread as animal lovers - it breaks my heart to think of what you're going through 💔 Sending you lots of love as you care for your little doggie gang. 🐶🐶🐶🐶 They’re lucky to have you. My boys are their usual naughty but lovable selves - well, to be fair there is only one naughty one and that's Barry the Barker 😂
Take care, and thank you as always for your kind words and support. More videos coming soon! 💐 xxxxx
Great story about such a beautiful and talented woman. I have fond childhood memories of Mortlake, where Liz has her final resting place. My Grandad (Mum's Father) worked for Watney's Brewery in Mortlake, and my Grandparents lived in one of the brewery owned flats.
Thank you so much! I do agree with you, Liz was so beautiful and talented. It's wonderful to have those childhood memories - Watney's Brewery and its history in Mortlake are so interesting too. I have similiar memories of Youngs Brewery in Wandsworth and my grandparents as my grandad was friends with most of the people that worked there! xxxx
Beautiful as always X
Thank you so much! xxxxx
