    Hank I have a backhoe on my Kubota L2501 and love it. I didn't have a teacher so I watched videos and learned by trial and error. You looked like me in the beginning when you first started operating it at the first part of the video. A backhoe is fun to operate and it is definitely a continuous learning experience. You need one!!! Enjoyed the video.

    Man that's cool Hank. By the end of the video you had it down pat. That was awesome of Tony to let you come hang out. I would love to operate heavy equipment. A tractor is very high on my list. We have one on our parents property but I'm going to buy my own pretty soon. I already bought a set of disc last week lol. Got too good of a deal to pass up.

    We almost bought a LS with backhoe until we found a deal on a 90's model Case 580sk. The ground where we live in AZ is hard and very rocky. The small backhoe may have not worked for our needs.

    Yes, I enjoy working on the tractor. It is a nice stress reliever after being in the office all week. I don't have a backhoe, but with the bucket and attachments, get to have a lot of fun and be productive.
    It looked like you really enjoyed the LS, does it mean that we will be seeing an LS in your future?

    • @Hfoutdoorsyt
      @Hfoutdoorsyt  5 лет назад

      Yeah I think I'm productive at my place too with as the small amount of Implements I have. It's all in how you use them, I reckon.
      LS in the future? ......🤷🏻‍♂️😂

  • @hphillips7425
    @hphillips7425 5 лет назад +1

    Good video 👍. I think I would try about 1200 RPM,S till I was more proficient. I can see the stress that is put on the tractor so the advice at the start of the video is well taken.

    • @Hfoutdoorsyt
      @Hfoutdoorsyt  5 лет назад

      Ah, good point. Didn't think about that. Thanks 👍

    • @hphillips7425
      @hphillips7425 5 лет назад

      In other words I would set the rpm,s to match my own learning curve. I didn't want to mention it but I would probably have to start at 1000 rpm. It would be nice to reach the point where you can work the controls subconsciously. Have a good one 👍

    I have run many tools on tractors and such and if they work right and do the job like i want i really do enjoy doing it . As for 3 point backhoes i was glad to see it stressed to use them properly and not over do it. As for my thoughts on 3 point Backhoes they are good for the Avg user but for me i love the Kubota TLBs which are a true backhoe tractor more so than the 3 opint versions plus the kubota controls are great and easy to use. But in my trials overall the mini ex is so much faster and better to just dig lol
