after looking for 5 days all over the internet. I used ireb on a pc to fix the connect to itunes loop with error1015 software 4.2.1 and 6.15.00 baseband. I tried everything then went to my friends house and used his pc. Tiny umbrella didnt work, but ireb FIXED it! i was amazed. I almost gave up. Great video. Thank you so much!
I have been playing with this device for many hours but no success until I'd discovered this useful vedio, I used iReb just for a minute, it fixed my 1015 error right away. Thanks for sharing....

I crashed my iphone 3Gs on 4.2.1 while rebooting the device after unlocking with ultro snow, and because I change the firmware to 06.15.00 the itune didnt restore the phone, after trying the iREB for over 50 times it somehow finally cracked the APPLE logo I got frozen on to and went to the emergency call screen, then I jailbroke it with Redsnow
absolute legend after over 12 hours of going and coming trying to unbrick my 3gs nothing worked until i did this, and i used ireb 4, thanks so much :D

To anyone reading, make sure your iTunes is v.10. My Mac with Parallels had a much older version as I don't use the Dark Side (XP) of my MacBook much. iReb mentions it on the bottom of the GUI but it is easy to miss when you are stressed with phone issues.
OMG i watched almost all the videos on youtube of how to fix error 1015, my phone has been stuck in recovery mode for the last 2 days, now finally my phone is back to life after i watched this video.. thank you so much.... without this video i would still be using my brick lol

ok this is what i did and it worked for me. open up ireb r-3 go to itunes and start the restore. we both know your going to get error 1015 again but thats ok. once you get that error go to ireb r-3 which you opened earlier. and select (set auto-boot true (fixes 1015 errors /recovery loops) then wait and see if your phone boots up. you might have to do the restore again and then this time wait for itunes logo on your iphone to come on. once that logo comes on after a restore start ireb again

i dont know if you will ever get this but you have helped me so much and even tho i still dotn know what im doing and how to jailbreak its not only taught me how to fix issues w/ my phone but ive helped my buddies too. ty so much and all my friends thank you as well. Keep it :D
what do you do after you've gotten you're phone out of recovery mode? after I broke the loop, it takes me to the screen, and all that appears is an emergency call slide button.
thank you it did work people read carefully you need to down grade to 4.1 before and the upfrade to 4.2 and it will give you error 1015 again and then you use IREB 4.0 AGAIN and after that i tunes will take over and restore your back up files thanks again!!!!

Finally! I have iphone 3gs was downgrading to 4.1 with ipad baseband and could not get it to get past the 1015. Kept rebooting regardless. For some reason worked today.

OMG. you are my hero. my iphone 3g was bricked for 2 days now and only ireb finally showed me the slide button hahahaa. thank you soooo much!
@DuBlois1 it shouldnt be, right click i ireb then go to properties and then compatibility and try run program for windows xp, or windows 95 then click apply. try all those settings till it works. and when you open ireb from your desk top always right click it and then select run as administrator.

If your on 4.1 and you restore, after you fix this error, when you go to limerain, it doesn't recognize when it's in dfu.
On 4.2.1, if you downgrade, then follow all the steps, it works
My 3g was the 4.1
and my 3gs was 4.2.1

I even tried tiny umbrella and such, but nothing was working. Downgrading to 4.1 for some reason was the key to success. Thank you SO much, man! You have no idea how much this helped =)
I had this same problem. This is how I fixed it:
1. Download a Custom firmware
2. Go to User/Appdata/Roaming/Apple Computer/iTunes/iPhone(or ipod) software updates.
3. Replace Custom with the one there.
4. Enter iphone/ipod into pwned dfu mode and restore.
Huge help... Looked everywhere... made a bunch of custom FW.. none would work, was always stuck here... wish I would have found this earlier:(..

To my last post, it worked 100% what I said. Thumb that post up so people see it who are getting the 3194 error. It is now successfully jailbroken and unlocked. You're welcome guys to whoever this helps.
Thank you so much! at first i thought i screw up cuz i pressed the ireb and iphone 3gs, since thats what i have. but then i followed the instructions that said to restore it on itunes with the custom restore i had previously downloaded from other videos. It worked! thanks so much! i just thought this might help someone.

I love you. I did the 3194 errrrrror vid. Then i did what you said on here and tried restoring with the 4.0 FW and it restored no error. I didnt have to use iReb :D
what do i do after i get that screen ? after using iReb succesfully what do i do from there ?

Ok i did it, all i had to do was install ultrasnow from cydia from my iphone and I received service. Thanks again.

@yoursoulhere If you want to downgrade to 4.2.1.. do the following things (sry for my bad english)
Jailbreak your iPhone/iPod with redsn0w_win_0.9.6b6 and the official software 4.2.1 (tick only the lowest also --> DFU mode, on your iphone/ipod nothing happens). Then go to iTunes and press Shift and click Restore and restore with CFW (Custom Firmware) 4.2.1.
Then your iPhone/iPod must load then you've got 4.2.1 on your iphone/ipod.
Again: you ned Official and CFW 4.2.1
@fgbcc just use redsn0w over it or use snowbreeze if you're an unlocker

@Mist3rPrada94 you have to use redsnow.... redsnow hacktivate your iphone... when you see that screen is because your iphone is not activated...

Please help me, last night I had this problem and when I clicked on Exit recovery mode it worked... but I made the mistake of updating it on itunes again and it got back on where it was! but then when I open tinyumbrella and click on the Exit recovery mode again it is still on the screen with the itunes logo and the usb cable.. doesn't do anything else. Please help me save my iphone 3g.
I've been following every video that i could find to fix my iphone4 and I can not get it out of recovery mode I'm trying iReb and it kick it out but it re-enters recovery mode. i've tried blackra1n, greenpois0n, redsnow, tinyumbrella, WiseFixer, and of course iTunes. I still can not get it out of recovery mode. is there anything eles that I might try?

QUESTION - i have an iphone 3g, but i didnt know it was TETHERED JAILBROKEN so one time it froze on me and the next day it was regular again, i restored it manually through the iphones settings (not on the computer) cus it had a lot of things i didnt want but when it restarted it showed up the connect to itunes. i didnt save the shsh or anything. and now ive recently tried fixing it and it switches errors like 3194, 1015, and 14. but sometimes it says on itunes something about the sim card? HELP
@EverythingApplePro you cant downgrade from 4.2.1 in itunes, you get the 3194

I just had few bugs on my iphone , so i tried to restore , to an version that i already had...then the error appeared , and i did what you did in this video..everything worked... What now to get it back to 4.1 ? Im going on a big trip tomorow evening and i need this to work :(!

My friend has iphone 4 4.1 2.10.04 from singapore. He is not facing any sim lock problem. Singapore's one isn't locked? And my iphone (still in the locked state) can't connect to home wifi. May I know the reason? Thanks. Really appreciate your help.

This works fine but remember one thing folks make sure you run iTunes and try to restore let the error message come up don't touch the phone or iTunes just run ireb this is why some of you are having trouble ok ;-) 🍺
wait...I used Ireb, and it seemed like it worked. But afterwards, it brought me to the same screen where it says connect to itunes. Then i couldn't function it normally and i had to "Restore and Update" my iphone....it keeps repeating. How do I make it just work. the slide screen doesn't appear like how it did at the end. please help

Is it necessary to unlock or jailbreak the iphone after rebooting it using iReb? I dont want o jailbreak my 3gs anymore.. Is that okay?

Hello and help. I have been trying for 2 days to follow your videos, but as you said Apple has discovered that I have Cydia and they have blocked my iphone 3gs with the connect to itunes logo. I have tried to downgrade to 4.1 then error 1015 or 3194 appears. I tried to unblock this with iReb and right now RecBoot v1 from mediafire is running and has been for the last 15 mins. It says Your device is now being kicked out of Recovery but connect to itunes is still there - help.
HEY! I tried tiny umbrella, it can't help me leave the recovery mode, and I have Tethered-jailbroken. I didn't jailbreak it myself, just gave it to the center, and now I can't exit recovery mode, have 1015 error and can't even restore. PLEASE HELP
help please , whe i go into iREB and do the set auto boot true in recovery mode it says *Recovery Loops cannot be removed on Tethered-jailbroken devices

At the end of your video it mentions continuing with your jailbreaking. Will I need to jailbreak the phone again afterwards? I wouldn't have clue how to do this. All I want to do is clear the 1015 error and restore the phone.
Hi! I tried to downgrade my iphone 3GS jailbreaked but now its blocked in recovery mode! the itunes can't recovery it and I tried iReb, tunyumbrella and Recboot, but nothing! the error 1015 continues and I cant use my iphone anymore!

i have a problem I did everything..as you said..and changing of the baseband went succesfully and so did the jailbreaking..but when I try to unlock it bricks..and i cant restore my iphone..i did it succesfully once and thought i messed something up with unlock..but then I tried it again..and it bricked once more..and now i cant restore it and am going to freak out..i would apreciate any kind of help..

my ipod has a problem i dont know whats the problem called but when i restore it the loading bar comes up on my ipod and it freezes near the end! its a ipod 4

This is the only program that works for 1015 iReb it did fix the problem when you get the emergency call only screen all you have to do is put a AT&T sim in then connect to iTunes then you will get a message saying iPhone activated

I dnt know if i'm gonna help anyone but after spending two days trying to fix my 3GS, I thought maybe I can share. First I tried to update it to 4.3.3 from 3.1.3 using snowbreeze and iTunes 10.4. I got stuck in DFU mode (black screen). I downloaded iTunes 10.0.0.68 and connected my iPhone. iTunes recognized it and I clicked restore without clicking Shift. iTunes proposed firmware 4.1 so I restored to this version.
my iphone 3g is working but it is on firmware 4.1 and i want to upgrade to 4.2.1

@DuBlois1 try extracting it. extract it to desktop so you can find it.

Ok I did a recovery with 4.2 because itunes wouldnt let me with 4.1 . Then I used ireb and still got a recovery mode without a screen slider. What could be wrong?

@EshaazxMarine dl fix recovery from tinyumbrella and run it... if it says you r missing a file google it and dl it.. then place it in hte folder where fix recovery is in

i was constantly getting 1015 error.. ..
but then i again tried the iREB and .. after pressing the Set auto-boot true button in iREB, i saw the apple logo... and i was disappointed again just pressed the Power off button in frustration and magic.. it come back to normal mode and what i see.. 4.1 was ther.
so u can try the poweroff immediately after the iREB ... might work for you too..
bro i have a problem i have a ipad 2 jailbroken,i connected it to my pc opened itunes and it asked me for installing ios 6 update,after an hour it shows a message 'this ipad cannot be updated unknown error occured (-1) ...any solution ? :)
@EverythingApplePro dude I have this sane error and it won't kick me out of it. All it does is reboot to a recovery mode state. There is no error on ireb either. Is DOESNT work
