Hiya Steve, my responses to your World Music Tag went up on my channel today. Thank you for starting such an interesting and diverse tag, all the best to you and your family sir 👍🏼
Thanks for watching. The Clutch was from a RSD a few years back, great box set. So much great music isn’t there from around the world. It’s fun to share it
Damn you, Carlson! You know I'm going to have to do this. I haven't even managed to do this years' Vinyl Tag yet! Garage Rock? I don't think I've got any US or UK Garage Rock, let alone World Garage Rock! That might be tough one. Great video, full of wonderful looking records. Thanks. Hed
Hedley always a pleasure and no doubt you would do a very interesting version of this I was just talking to someone who wanted to start a channel and I mentioned you and how you kept me going and really supported me. I told him I would help him along if he started. Your legacy lives on my friend
Steve, you're a great fit for the tag. You've got an awesome collection of world music. It's impressive. And the way you pronounce things is really impressive.🙃
lol, yes my pronunciation skills are marveled by many Mark haha. I need to take a hooked on phonics course! I do enjoy finding music from around the world especially in genres I really love
I started watching this thinking I've got no chance of doing a world tag, but now I'm thinking if I include a couple of CDs, I could give it a go! I really enjoyed it, Steve. Thanks
I will, Steve. I'm working in the prog one at moment, but world up next after that. I'm surprised you included Australia. I lump the Aussies in with the US, Canada and UK. And I assume you meant UK and Ireland? I wonder if there are any Greenland bands? I suppose that's Scandinavia, or does it count as US yet?! 😅
Sherv, I enjoyed it very much. It appears there is controversy over it which was totally unintentional. I just don’t get it sometimes Sherv. It sure was nice to have a video. This was perfect to show off some of your wonderful collection.
This sounds fun for tag. Altin Gun is from Netherlands. Super band! I'll give this a though and should be able to pick record for each prompt even most my collection is local.
Netherlands, thank you! Altun Gun is such a fun group. They continue to keep me interested in there music. This was fun to do, something different. We all have music inspired by other countries
Well thank you Rob, it took a few weeks to decide to do this. Music from around the globe is what always excites me. You got your year off to a nice start with some albums.
I did not know they were from Belgium. I just knew that was French and I am so pathetic trying to pronounce anything in that language. I just don’t get it
You are the perfect person to do this tag, whereas I am the worst person to do this tag, which is why I am not doing it. Valiant effort with Plastic Bertrand!
Dang French language. Glad I don’t live in Quebec or Montreal! I do love the variety of music that can be found around the world Brian. I do look at that massive collection of yours and I know a lot of those albums were inspired by music from around the world
Hey Steve! Thanks for doing this tag. I’m going to try and do this one. I have that Stems album so will need to show a different record from the Australian island, i mean continent (apologies to Ben Rankins).
Great questions - and with almost all great questions... I have almost no answers. I shall dig into the very depths of my admittedly startlingly shallow soul and see if I can come up with something.
I need some time to pull this together, Professor...but this is gonna be fun...and I haven't done a tag video in two years, so feel privileged that I'm gonna try and do this one, heh heh...not all gonna be vinyl, though...
Very enjoyable tag 👍 i dont think I'd be able to answer all the questions and any i can answer would have to be with LPs and 7" singles. Mr Plastic Bertrand wasn't french,he was belgian and he didn't sing that song. If memory serves me correct,it took two court cases for the truth to eventually come out and Mr Plastic had to admit everything !!! One thing also puzzles me,if Turkey is part of the middle east then why does their national football team play in the european football championship and their club sides play in the various European club cup competitions....weird 🤔🤔 Again,a great fun tag sir 👍
Actually Turkey is considered Asia but I think since there proximity to Europe they are part of the European soccer league. Also they are part of NATO though I really have no idea Nick. World tag was just something to do to show music from a lot of different countries. It was quite enjoyable to do it
Huge thank you for telling me. I just subbed your channel and will give this video a watch. If you have any questions about anything please reach out. Always happy to help new channels
On Steve, why did you do this? 😣I was all done with tags and now you come up with this one that I just can't ignore. Great questions and a chance to show some more unusual albums. 🤗
Well Mike it was going to languish in the never show video hell but I thought let’s just do it. Hope is to see something new and shiny for me to chase haha
Get out Chris. I also have almost no sugar music, at least that I can remember having haha. That was a tough one for me unless I picked a George Harrison song!

It was basically on a dare, I don’t expect anyone to do it which is why the title of the video is tongue and cheek. Sometimes you have to poke the bear lol. How have you been doing? I hope you had a good Christmas and New Year!
It's all good (the tag, that is). I bet some will do it. Thanks for asking but I've been better. 2025 is not starting out well. Hopefully things will pick up by spring. Still enjoy your videos.
Hey Steve! I don't have music that would qualify for half of these, even though I do listen to other music that is just not from my country. That, and I have avoided the tags. For the record (no pun intended), I do not own any of the albums you showed. Cheers!
Honestly I did this with some prodding and some dares. I don’t expect anyone to really do it, if they do great. It was more because there are a billion tags so let’s toss another one on the fire ! I did add a Scandinavian question though!
Short comment all that money you spend on these lps you could have visited some of the countries. If you keep an open mind most countries are so interesting to visit. Eat their food talk to the natives, share experiences.
Peter, I have traveled to a lot of countries , not as many as you but still to a lot of them. I do a,ways think about that, money I spent on r3cord where could I have gone. I am a traveler and my library is filled with travel books. I do want to go to the UK and then find you!
Great selections! Impressive collection! I got that Miles Davis album, I’ll have to put it on! Maya Ongaku has a new EP out called “Electronic Phantoms”! It’s really good, check it out!
There you go Michael, working on getting me to buy another album lol. It is amazing how many albums I do have from other countries but that is what excites me. I’m listening to some Van Morrison and doing comments as we are texting about focusing on the music lol. Replying to comments takes a lot of time but it’s fun
Hiya Steve, my responses to your World Music Tag went up on my channel today. Thank you for starting such an interesting and diverse tag, all the best to you and your family sir 👍🏼
Hello Steve. What a great idea for a vinyl tag, and completely in my wheelhouse. So I had to get in on the action. :) Greetings!
Ales, this is perfect for you. You’re the one that got me into Anatolian rock. Great to hear from you, I hope your are doing well
Nice clutch boxset, fan of music from around the world here.
Thanks for watching. The Clutch was from a RSD a few years back, great box set. So much great music isn’t there from around the world. It’s fun to share it

Really enjoyed this Steve. Think I may jump on it. Cheers!
Jeff, how are you doing ? That would be great! It has been fun to see so many different albums that never get shown in the VC.
Steve, you're a great fit for the tag. You've got an awesome collection of world music. It's impressive. And the way you pronounce things is really impressive.🙃
lol, yes my pronunciation skills are marveled by many Mark haha. I need to take a hooked on phonics course! I do enjoy finding music from around the world especially in genres I really love

btw Sa Plan Poor Mwa !!! 🤣🤣
Lmao, damn French language
If you feel up to it give it a go, I tried to do a lot of inspired by questions for those without a huge world collection
lol, do Greenland before we take it over!
I bet you have the best worldly music collection in the VC if not the country. Always love seeing your collection.
Tony, I do seem to have a lot but I just keep finding interesting music that excites me and spends my money lol
So the US is bigger than the VC? Interesting perspective ^^
Altin gun are from the Netherlands indeed. Love this vinyl tag, so much more inspiring than the 2025 Pretty Green Guy tag!
Thank you for the feedback. The world is filled with great music or music inspired by other countries, a lot we can learn from it.
well done steve... l'm in.
Sherv, I enjoyed it very much. It appears there is controversy over it which was totally unintentional. I just don’t get it sometimes Sherv. It sure was nice to have a video. This was perfect to show off some of your wonderful collection.

Hi Steve enjoyed this I’ll respond for sure .. certainly by the end of next week. Thanks for putting this together 👍
Well thank you Rob, it took a few weeks to decide to do this. Music from around the globe is what always excites me. You got your year off to a nice start with some albums.
Hello and thank you for your interresting selection! Plastic Bertrand is from Belgium, there's a part of this country where people speak french.
I did not know they were from Belgium. I just knew that was French and I am so pathetic trying to pronounce anything in that language. I just don’t get it
Might have a go at this Steve, l've given most of the tags a wide berth, but this is fun.
Mike, you have been very quiet lately. So many tags and then I did one lol. I didn’t expect anyone to do it. I will be checking it out
You are the perfect person to do this tag, whereas I am the worst person to do this tag, which is why I am not doing it. Valiant effort with Plastic Bertrand!
Dang French language. Glad I don’t live in Quebec or Montreal! I do love the variety of music that can be found around the world Brian. I do look at that massive collection of yours and I know a lot of those albums were inspired by music from around the world
Great tag Steve! I enjoyed this more than the 2025 tag
Take care Brian ☮️
Thank you Brian, a more interesting selection of records
Hey Steve! Thanks for doing this tag. I’m going to try and do this one. I have that Stems album so will need to show a different record from the Australian island, i mean continent (apologies to Ben Rankins).
lol that darn Australia Island Russell. The Stems is some great music isn’t it Wonderful if you want to give this a shot
Great tag Steve. I think I will join in. Couple of them I might have to go on a stretch but it should fun.
Stretching an answer is half the fun. It’s all about interpretation!
Well done Steve. I hope that someone can pull off showing all seven (7) continents! Thanks, Chris
Thanks Chris, I got a lot of world music but many don’t but they do have music inspired by music from other countries
Great questions - and with almost all great questions... I have almost no answers. I shall dig into the very depths of my admittedly startlingly shallow soul and see if I can come up with something.
Lmao, dig deep into the Soul and just warp all the questions into something Canadian. If anyone could do that it would be you
Hey Steve. Great video and tag. Cheers
Thanks Bobby, I can now say I put it out there
@ That you did! Cheers
Explaining that Australia is not an island sounds like Newsom explaining that he is currently talking to the President about fire intervention.
lol Richie. Too many people get confused on Australia, it sure looks like an island? What is an island after all?
Australia isn’t an island. It’s a child-birthing land mass.
All of life is a struggle but doing this video just made it strugglier.
There must have been a way you could have worked in only Canadian music. I will check it out Darrell, you always make it entertaining.
Looks like fun, I'll give it a go.
Thank you, it was just some thing to have fun with and I hope I made it easy enough to do
Steve, the worldly vinyl one! I don’t know if I can do this tag. I could answer a few questions. Peace ☮️ Namaste 🙏 the Zonkman
I had no expectations of anyone doing this, it was all just for fun Zonkman
I need some time to pull this together, Professor...but this is gonna be fun...and I haven't done a tag video in two years, so feel privileged that I'm gonna try and do this one, heh heh...not all gonna be vinyl, though...
TC, that is very nice of you. I really didn’t expect anyone to do this. It is my kind of tag, in my wheelhouse

Hi Steve, I'm pretty new to making videos but enjoyed this one a lot. Just uploaded my effort anyway. Cheers
Huge thank you for telling me. I just subbed your channel and will give this video a watch. If you have any questions about anything please reach out. Always happy to help new channels

Well Mike it was going to languish in the never show video hell but I thought let’s just do it. Hope is to see something new and shiny for me to chase haha
I might do this, although I'm woefully lacking in sitar muzak.
Get out Chris. I also have almost no sugar music, at least that I can remember having haha. That was a tough one for me unless I picked a George Harrison song!
And it's ready for viewing.
Can you even imagine how many aswers I could have given to all of those tags? 🤣
Dave, you could make a killer video and you have the stories to make it even more interesting

The VC is in a tagmire and you go and do this!?!

Too late. Not doing it. 🤣
You sad bastard! Yes you are had healthy list of tags planned out already. I’ll try to not be too depressed Jon
Short comment all that money you spend on these lps you could have visited some of the countries. If you keep an open mind most countries are so interesting to visit. Eat their food talk to the natives, share experiences.
Steve is a world traveler too. It is possible to do both without breaking the bank.
@@Russell.S He travels America its not the same
Peter, I have traveled to a lot of countries , not as many as you but still to a lot of them. I do a,ways think about that, money I spent on r3cord where could I have gone. I am a traveler and my library is filled with travel books. I do want to go to the UK and then find you!
