Blackburn was a wonderful town to grow up in, back in the 60's. , But today, the town has been stripped bare. its just like any other town, average at best. Give me the old place all day long.
Epic. I was born in Blackburn in 1972, left in this year - September 1989 - arriving on a bus at that very 'Boulevard' and leaving on a Train to London Euston then onto Winchester from the station to join the Army. Lovely to remember is as it was. The Hake Boat Chippy at 1:35 was the best Fish and chips in the town! :-)

Hake boat, what a joint that was, we used to go as a special treat on a Saturday. Either that or hot potatoes from the potatoe man at the spiral
