Hello sir. My name is Ricky Mason and I'm from the USA. I have a Tamiya Super Clod Buster rc monster truck that I'm trying to build. I was wondering if maybe you could come to Frederick Maryland here in the USA if I can't get anyone to help me build it.
The most realistic F1's are the Kyosho 1/8 from the early 90s. The shocks are built in exactly like in the original ones. They where available electric and gas powerd. I have the Ferrari 643 but i never build it.
Dude I would enjoy all my old cars more if parts for them still existed. I currently need tires for my losi micro sct, tires and belt for my team associated sc18, shock for my losi mini sct, and many more (as that's all I can remember off the top of my head)
I hate that my childhood is vintage now, but I love seeing these old cars out and about. On road .12 Nitro touring cars and .15 GT cars were one of the gateway classes for me. Slowly taking cars off the wall and running them is fun.
That was genuine surprise in Kevin’s voice after the car fired up on the first pull.😂 That doesn’t happen often with him and RC cars with nitro engines.
That's freaking rad, Kevin! I'm loving these new RCs you're getting your hands on. You need to check out the vintage Koysho F1 1/8 scale. It actually looks kinda like yours. It is so realistic in its looks, performance, and cool sound with its 4 chamber exhaust system. I love mine. It runs off of a thunder tiger two-cylinder rc plane engine. You do need a bump wand to start it.
Kevin, I noticed that the retaining washer has some bow to it. It's designed to bite a little as you push it into place so it doesn't slide up without force. Use some pliers or something to flatten it some. Don't flatten it more than needed, keep some bow in it. Too wide an outside diameter and you'll never get it out.
That's the same parking lot that the prototype exploded into a million pieces 😂😂 So glad that didn't happen again, what an amazing looking, sounding, and running F1 RC. Nice find Kev 👌 👍🏽
Looks like a GX12 or 15 engine with a 2 speed transmission. I’ve got this set up (GX12) in my Kyosho Peugeot 306 Maxi plus the tuned exhaust. Great little engine and goes like stink. Love the scale looks of the F1 - not easy to achieve! Only problem is finding a nice surface to run it on. Even tiny stones are like boulders when your ride height is so low. Please can we see more of this car?
Hey KT! That's a Awesome pickup off eBay and it sounds so good and started and ran great right off the bat! You better not let that Maxx get his hands on that beauty bud!🤔😳😉👍📹✔️💯🤣😂🤣😂
Those older Kyosho kits make a very nice car. I have a .21 Stadium Truck that's a beast and so far cannot keep tires on it if run on pavement. I can see the appeal of RTR built cars and trucks...but building one from a kit where every single tiny bit needs you to assemble it...lots of fun if you enjoy mechanical things.
It might just surprise you how well it turns with a "slow" servo. If it's anything like a scale formula 1 car very little input can make a lot of turn. Get that motor leaned out and it should b e awesome.
You know what I would love to see? I would love to see either Traxxas or Arrma (or really any spectrum brand) have something like a durability/performance scale on the side of their box. 10 (the highest level) would be like you know "Talbot proof" or "Kev certified" or whatever. then at the low end of the scale (#1) you would have a picture of Kev's face with a thought bubble saying "WHAT HAPPENED!?!?"
Of course Kevin finds the master class car lol Been looking for F1 type petrol cars and havent had any luck. This does provide some motivation cuz they are out there!!! Great vid Kevin So awesome to see these retro cars flying by!
Kev I have 2 of those engines one of them is in an original Mad Force the other is still like new! I also have the original motorbike helmet air-filter (tatty stickers but filter works) They are one of the best engines, that I've ever have run when it comes to Nitro! for 1/8 - 1/7 scale for keeping the tune & running well. A rule that I've always stood by is: To always keep your Nitro engine running cool & lubricated, so no over heating - Rich in the summer. Lean in the winter. I'd love to see a Speed-run of your F1 😍👍
I like your vids and the energy but it only suits for certain things from my perspective. was super excited to see a "realistic" F1 rc car toy and it all goes...then remembered is a Talbot vid 3:28 .....there's Talbot trying out the "realistic" F1 RC car lol just looking for smiles, awesome vid, keep growing! 6:19 no mention that the spring holds the washer in place and the issue is bad o-rings ? lol
Ordered from Ebay the 1/7 deagostini kyosho f2007 because this video, counting the days to have it and enjoy it! Thanks for this content, cheers from Mexico!
1:27 props to kev for putting the shrink on BEFORE he solders...unlike me who solders the wires then looks at the shrink sitting in the bench OOPS lol I do that EVERY freaking time!!!!
I run those 21kg Ecoboost in all of my race cars and they have been great. Super fast and I'm yet to break one even on the short course with some large jumps and plenty of crashes. I use the beefier 36kg version in my 1/8th scale cars and my crawlers. Really can't recommend them enough.
wow, glad to see something I haven't been aware of before, it should be a lot of fun! The electronic alike version by Armma is so expensive and too big for me.
Awesome F1 for sure. Kevin your probably the top rated channel for RC cars and you do a fantastic job. There is only one thing that I cant understand. Why with all your resources are you still using a cigarette lighter on your shrink sleeves? Get yourself a reheat gun or small hair dryer. I would love to see you convert this F1 to electric.
I'd go for a Caddx Peanut to replace that Go2. Same camera, one's built for FPV (and you can power it off of a receiver, and move the cable from car to car)
Hey Kevin, I also have it in the Ferrari version, DeAgostini distributed it here in Italy in 2004, in the booklet version to be assembled, it's a Kyosho, mine has 2 gears
Yo dudes!! I made some hoodies and T-shirts for you, check em out! teespring.com/stores/kevs-merch

Good news Kev, as of today you no longer need proof of a Covid shot to enter the USA ……..🥳
Could I send you a rc to fix I tried it myself but couldn't
Your American slang is rusty

Awesome to see these vintage RC cars being used and enjoyed. Not just sitting on a shelf like a plastic model. Keep up the vintage RC search.
well seaid
I’m the person that buys broken vintage cars fixes and cleans them and puts them up on the shelf they look too good to use
Dude I would enjoy all my old cars more if parts for them still existed. I currently need tires for my losi micro sct, tires and belt for my team associated sc18, shock for my losi mini sct, and many more (as that's all I can remember off the top of my head)
I payed $90 for a barely used pro .15 nitro rustler with a brand new engine. It has been the best $90 ever spent.
I hate that my childhood is vintage now, but I love seeing these old cars out and about. On road .12 Nitro touring cars and .15 GT cars were one of the gateway classes for me. Slowly taking cars off the wall and running them is fun.

his last few eBay finds have been beat up bad
So satisfying to see this in action! What I wouldn't give to have Kyosho collaborate on modern F1 car builds like this again! Great drive!

This is the first time I've seen a model nitro car actually kind of sound like the real thing 😂
Yuki Tsunoda could probably fit in that
Pmsl
I love the fact that the F1 car is based off a Ferrari F2004, but has a Redbull livery 🤣
Team Redbull used Ferrari engines in 2006. The Redbull junior team 'Toro Rosso' used Ferrari engines from 2007 - 2013.
@@chrisallison4175 engine is not a chassis though. That's a F2004-F2005 era chassis.
If it was a legit RB chassis I could understand your point.
@@DF-et4gs the car is a Kyosho Deagostini Ferrari F2004
I have the same exact car except it has a Ferrari livery so maybe they repurposed it?
First time I’ve ever seen Kevin treating a non basher like a non basher. 😮
That’s so cool! You should put the park plates you have in your infraction so it sparks like a real f1 car!
Red Bull-Ferrari, the ultimate 2000s-2010s crossover! 😍
That's the same parking lot that the prototype exploded into a million pieces 😂😂 So glad that didn't happen again, what an amazing looking, sounding, and running F1 RC. Nice find Kev 👌 👍🏽
yes!!
Ebay coming in CLUTCH! Such an amazing looking car! Great find, Kev!!
Love watching your stuff 😂
Glad to see you resurrecting older nitros! Even has a 2 speed! Super awesome when they fire right up and run good.
Kev because of this Video ive got me today a used Tamiya F104 Pro Formula 1 RC Car with hopups and Spares..😊👍
the exhaust sounds good on that.
Love the realism on this race car
You are so genius kevin...👍
Thanks for brightening up my work morning on a Friday with a sick rc video! Man you rock Kev! 🤘🏼
That's a cracking nitro F1. A few tweaks and you've sorted it. Starts like a dream.

"finger over the exhaust, and tug". Sounds like a good night in.
lol theres always one!!
She run sweet lots of smoke, that's the best break in yet

That thing is so cool! It actually sounds a bit like an F1 car too.
That car is pure awesome
Would love to see some speed runs👍
Great to see the older cars running again after years sat idle. And started straight up too ,👌
Hey Kevin. Love the vids. Wanted to know where I can get the actual car from.. and we have Aldi's here in Texas. Haha

The assembly part is an entertainment on its own
I love how you always do everything to prevent a runaway, yet have a runaway 😂😂😂😂😂. Love the channel Kev
Claire and Ian!!!! plz send our love to your 2 lovely friends Kev. They did make you famous you know! We love all you guys!
It might just surprise you how well it turns with a "slow" servo. If it's anything like a scale formula 1 car very little input can make a lot of turn. Get that motor leaned out and it should b e awesome.
Looks like very accurate. I wish you paint like a real one.
I want a “on location”!! Shirt. I like Kevin’s enthusiasm
New shocks and foam tyres and that will be really good. 😃👍
Sounds better than modern F1.

More of these old rc moooore! We want the cassic rc🎉
Those magazine cars are normally a pile of rubbish but that thing is bad ass!! Love it
Get some more and have a race Kev!.
Hey, with that shock retaining washer you could try flattening it a bit. maybe it will get a better bite on the shock body and not come out so easily.
“1st tug and it fired, straight up”
😂😂😂😂😂

Kev: "We're just askin' for a runaway"
Everyone: (crosses feenguz) 😎👍
Ahhh quality nitro engines are worth their weight in gold!! Epic rig that. Nice buy Kevin!!!
Those old AA battery packs for nitros are just the worst lol
Loving the vintage stuff!
2:57 first pull and it fired right up...KYOSHO baby......
Very cool 👍 I love those vintage RC cars (when will the video of the go kart be published ??). And if it is nitro, it is even better ! 😀
Those kyosho GX12/15 engines are actually ABC construction sleeves I always thought they were ABN until recently. Kev don’t kill it. lol😂
I like your vids and the energy but it only suits for certain things from my perspective.

Sick one Kev🔥🔥🔥
This might be my most favorite rc of yours. Man I've gotta find me one close
Legend man , got that joy in your life,
I can't imagine that
But it's cool to see
F1 is the best
Ive never heard a better sound from a nitro RC
That is more entertaining to watch, than real F1
Great F1 fun 👍🏻
Oh wow! We need new versions of this, is amazing 😮
Omg! That looks crazy expensive and sooo much fun!
This guy always has the best setups!
You have to love how fast it fired up
its a great feeling when the nitros fire up first pull or two.
Nice weekend For everybody
have a great weekend, mine's started already, yes!
That's a real nice car, glad you got it I would have kept it for a shelf queen, or big days out. Keep it up kev love the show.
Now that is impressive. Nice eBay buy Kev. Well worth it.
it ran so good!!!

Very cool! Massive improvement after changing shock oil. I think you can lean it out a bit or two bits 😂. Nice to show nitro is still a live.
That's the first time I've seen oneof those run. It goes well.
Bro time for Bigger Engine!🔥💯
Would be an even more fun experience with soft tires

8:13 best car ever
Been looking for something like this. As a massive F1 fan, i love this!
Kyosho do a 1:7 rb7 nitro f1 car looks clean af
yeah with the popularity of F1 in Europe etc I don't know why there aren't more open wheel r/c cars.....
that shock and servo tuneup did wonders! awesome f1 car.
Love the videos mate, need to see some more xrt bashing I have defo found some weaknesses 😂😂
Having fun just watching!!! 👍
Now THAT is an R/C Car !!! .. awesome!!!!!
Great video!!!! But honestly every day I check your feed for a new update I’m ALWAYS HOPING for a new video on the 4-motor top speed car build ✅
KT, you're awesome. Always fun to watch your vids! 👍
Just like a real one 😂😂 brilliant mate 😀👍👍👍👍
Great vid , would love to see a Serpent 1/8 nitro put through its paces ... very large car park lol
That is awesome I think you've started something off Kevin 👍🏻

That is freakin SUPER COOL!
Super nice rc! I'd get some of those shocks that go on the tt o2 and some of raz springs. And a huge hpi savage motor
that would be class to use with an fpv kit
Beautiful!! How fast does it go? I'm curious kevv!!
Hey Kevin, I also have it in the Ferrari version, DeAgostini distributed it here in Italy in 2004, in the booklet version to be assembled, it's a Kyosho, mine has 2 gears
Looks rad Kev. You’ve inspired me to get out my 1/8 nitro hobao. Now if it would only stop raining ☔️
