Real Recovery and Hope in Addiction

Stacy Dodd, Certified Addiction Interventionist with over 20 years in recovery was at 33, once himself, a homeless drug addict living in the woods. Today, after 23 years of being clean, Stacy is passionate about helping the addict find the same hope and deliverance that he did after hitting rock bottom and discovering a relationship with Jesus Christ. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, more Americans now die every year from drug overdoses than they do in motor vehicle accidents. Prescription drug abuse is the Nation's fastest-growing drug problem and has been classified as an epidemic. Stacy tells his drug addiction journey, some of the biggest challenges to getting help for a loved one with a drug addiction, and the personality traits that someone that struggles with an addiction may have that makes them prone to abuse.
