Love this concept, and a brilliant way to practice! Golf is hard, it's real, as handicap golfers, we don't always have great lies! This will stand you in great stead for future rounds and your game in general! Loved it
You seemed to got the hang of a routine in the end. First couple of holes, I was shouting at my laptop "pick up the other ball", "use your marker"! The only other thing I would mention is to not use 2 clubs for the same shot like you did with your woods once. Great idea and look forward to see it develop.
Yes I admit it was learning off the cuff so to speak but actually once I had worked out the logistics of how to do it it was really enjoyable. Of course it’s harder when trying to film at the same time and trying to concentrate where both shots went.
It was so much tougher than I expected but of course carrying a camera and filming makes me think of so many things at the same time. But yes please try it because if you concentrate on where both balls have gone then it really takes no time at all to do. (I kept losing track of where the good shot went lol)
I think that’s it isn’t it… it’s almost more about learning a string frame of mind, than playing the golf itself. Understanding pressure and dealing with it.
I don’t think I could play a full round like it lol the strange thing was I struggled to find the good shot. Because I was concentrating on finding the bad one if that makes sense.
A good concept and yes if you could try this out would be quite a good training exercise but I don't think any course I play would be to happy about it even if you payed for a two ball but an interesting video John 👍

Yes a few balls in your pocket helps but I find the hard but is searching for the better shot of the two because you are concentrating on where the bad shot went lol

It’s a tough lesson my friend but we’ll worry having a good at.
Tiger woods used to shoot around 66 with his bad ball at medalist which is one of the toughest courses in America 😲

Great idea to practice and to get out of trouble on a bad shot, good also to watch as Alfie has a 9 hole competition at Merlin on Sunday
great idea .. need an empty course but will have to give it a go.
Something for those quiet evenings on a course. You only need play a few holes, it’s not like you would do a whole round.

I see plenty of people playing solo rounds and playing two balls so it’s not uncommon my friends.

You really need a non playing partner carrying the extra balls. Far more difficult to do than you would think!
