I've been meaning to do a video about something similar to this, and I'm going to add it to my EVO 16 review/comparison video, which I'm still working on. The bottom line is that the differences between preamps at this level are going to be so unnoticeable that it shouldn't be a concern. I realize I'm opening up a giant can of worms with that statement, but I think people put way too much stock into interface preamps. The EVO 16 preamps are super clean and aren't lacking in any way.
It's coming, but it might take a while. I want to record a few different basses and maybe my cheap Strat guitar on my existing interface so I can compare the two, and want to use the Evo a bit before I feel like I can talk intelligently about it. But it's coming!
That opening joke, though 🤣
Nice
Good morning- Hi. that's stunning done, have a good day, 🤝
Oh you lucky man
Thanks! Can't wait to start playing with it.
I bought the EVO 8, but some were telling me the preamps were inferior compared to the main Audient such as the iD14?

Can the evo 16 crank power monitors .. I know audient interfaces have low volume on the outputs
It's plenty loud for mixing, if that's what you're asking. If you're looking for it to run a PA or something, it's not really meant for that.
Review please!
