Rengoku’s death hit me hard ngl. It also felt more meaningful but with Stars I really wanted more. At least I can be satisfied with what we got from Rengoku though I also wanted to see more of him

S&S is single handedly the reason the fight is now winnable. He was nigh unstoppable at his current power level. What a bomb ass final attack! She beat his ass and nearly killed him 3 times during the fight.
she didn't nearly kill him at all, all she did was try her cards and they all didn't work, the only thing that worked is her final trump card which is deleting most of his abilites in exchange for her own and this wasn't intended to kill him either, it's just to slow him and make him weaker

She's barely in 6 chapters in the manga and she's a fanfavourite now that's how you write a character
Man I was not expecting her to die so early but in the short time she had she was a better female character then most we have now
This author isn’t a huge fan of women, so if you’re a woman in mha you’re either a background character, or you’re only meant to be sexy, or you’re going to die rather quickly like magne and star
@onnatsu I mean that's kinda almost every shonen ever shonen is usually directed at a male audience so it makes sense but even with that he still made a better female character in her short time than other anime's and other suff like marvel and dc

So, what happened was that Star essentially hit ShigarakiAFO with a trojan horse, a virus that activated as soon as he "downloaded" new order. The plan for Star was to destroy him from the inside. The reason her quirk could not be passed on to someone else was because AFO was too late. I liken it to that of an immune system: like an immune system fighting an unknown/hostile substance, AFO's innumerable quirk factors fought back and destroyed New Order before it could destroy them. So, he is left with no new order and many quirk factors destroyed instead.

I really like how they did her teammates, we didnt get insanely long flashbacks and stuff but we still understand that they had their own stories and friendships
In the manga, it was revealed in a volume extra that after this fight, Shigaraki's regen was damaged and stopped working properly. However, he yoinked a near high-end nomus regen sometime after to fix that, and his regen was good as new.
I hate that, so lame
I know about that but did he replace his regeneration with the quirk or not??

@Totallynotliam- It's a quirk they included along with everything else. Remember, when his quirks were erased, he didn't regen.

Its so sad that Star died... i already very liked her character and story. She was the female version of All Might basically. She was a true and a very strong hero. And i am glad that her death was not for nothing. I hope Midoriya and the others will rly use well this time what they got to train more. And damn Shigaraki was insane too. Can't wait next episodes. "Two Heroes" is definitely referring to Deku and All Might.
As for "Heroes Rising", remember the episodes with the title ": Rising".
"Momo Yaoyorozu: Rising" -- the episode where Yaoyorozu regained her confidence in the Finals Exam after losing it to Tokoyami in the sports festival
"All Might: Rising" -- it is an OVA before the movie Two Heroes showing All Might's backstory
"Katsuki Bakugo: Rising" -- the episode where Deku fought against Shigaraki by himself and Bakugo sacrificed himself to save Deku without hesitation
And then we have
"Shoto Todoroki: Rising"
"Toshinori Yagi: Rising"
"Izuku Midoriya: Rising" -- (manga chapters where the characters had a rising moment)
In the movie, every single hero student had a "Rising" moment as well. That is why it's titled like that.

She couldn't... She can't fly... The aircraft were her footing in the air, and shigaraki blasted them away. Then she didn't want to kill her team mate with a rule especially when she can only set 2 rules... plus, she calculated from the fight so far that the greatest damage she could do to him was through the one thing he wanted -her quirk.

About Bakugo's cluster, it was his quirk awakening last time he battled with Shigaraki saving Deku. Remember when he said "his body moved on its own"? That was when the awakening happened iirc
How convenient that out of all the quirks erased, the hyper regen was not removed. Without it, shigaraki can easily get defeated.

Someone explain!! So with her last rule with New order. If shigaraki tries to give someone else New Order, it won’t work?
New Order burned itself away, the quirk is now gone.
I think shigaraki was going to make that dude quirkless, and give him new order, and the rule was that new order would destroy other quirks until there isn't any remaining, but if someone is quirkless the rule would be cancelled immediately. So after giving him new order, then I think Shigaraki intended to steal new order again, and this time that rule of destroying quirks wouldn't have worked. But Before he could do it new order destroyed itself.
