Glad you find the brain as interesting as I have. I found it so interesting, I got a BA in psychology with a minor in neuroscience (sadly my uni doesn’t have a Neuro major yet). And I’m currently a research assistant at a lab working on an aspect of Alzheimer’s disease. Love the video man!
You, Sir, need to be properly acknowledged for your humble, selfless, incredibly challenging & intellectually stimulating choice for a career. I was diagnosed with congenital Chiari Malformation type 1 or2. I just sent my records & MRI &mof brain & cervical spine to a neurosurgeon specializing in Chiari. His office called today to give me his recommendations. He identified that i have cervical spinal stenosis & that I have Chiari Malformation. He definitely wants to evaluate me for treatment plan. It took 47 years for this day to happen. Thank you neurologists, psychologists, & ASMRtists (i have severe insomnia as one of many symptoms). God bless you all.
Thanks for your work. I truly wish I'd have chose a career path that would be fulfilling like yours. My grandmother had it for over ten years, lived with me. It's a heartbreaking disease. Thanks again friend
Hey I just watched a part of this video but I’m brought to tears because your descriptions, fascination and curiosity is so inspiring. I’m a psychology major and thank you for reminding me why I study what I do. I’m fascinated yes, that’s why I think about it everyday, but the infinite thirst for knowledge fueled by curiosity and powered by awe has dimmed in me since the time I was little. I remember the feeling of awe I had staring at the stars, just contemplating, I feel that through you for this subject. Thank you for this.
"others control your hunger, thirst, sex drive and sleep cycle" I'm gonna need these to step their game up because somebody ain't doing their job correctly. I got too much of one and not enough of the other.
I was a neuroscience major before I switched to psychology so I could pursue being a therapist, I mainly clicked on this video because I’m always interested to learn about someone’s specific interest in the brain. The amygdala has a lot of different responsibilities and it’s incredibly interesting, I hope you looked into it.
I used to love reading my dad’s old psychology textbooks from when he was in college - I felt like I was learning secrets no one else knew or something 😂I love listening to these, because it’s hard to read or even listen to audiobooks due to a neurological illness
Watching these now and having a better understanding of the universe and the brain. I get really mad when people say “what’s so interesting about your brain? It’s nasty” it’s what helps you live my friend. Its what gives you your genes. Its what makes you, you.
its unfortunate when people don't take an interest in understanding some science and technology we've discovered, especially when we stop and realize how deeply dependent we all are on it. thanks for the comment mochas

The Information from the material itself + the additional light you're able to shed yourself makes for incredibly informative videos. It also helps that you have a nac for the asmr aspect every time. Thank you so much for your work. Hope to see a follow up video to this :)
I love anatomy and physiology as a massage therapist, so this may be one of my faves of all of your videos. Your whisper voice and the sounds of the tapping/rubbing of the page add layers of soothing sounds too. I fell asleep to this one after fighting to stay awake and soak up the good info 🙄🤗🤣
Please do a video on the neuroanatomy! As a neuroscience student, it's fun to take in neuroanatomy and experience ASMR in one video! Loved this video 😍
Just woke up from one of those “school day” naps. (Even though it’s summer lol) my phone was on 2%, steaming hot, I was sweaty and my covers were on the floor. Best sleep/nap ever. 🤝
I think the thing I like so much about these videos is that they aren’t (don’t seem to be) preplanned or premeditated, he flips through the books live and we get to witness the gears turn as we go along. That is my favorite kind of content and I always try to find videos like it. I’d love to just see people scrolling through Wikipedia or something learning about things WITH the viewer.
I found you through suggestions right before you released the full length witch video I’ve now been through so many of your videos and absolutely love them, you as well as asmr nerd are my go to for sleep Thanks
Its interesting if yout think about it, what really keeps the body alive. The brain or the heart? I tend to think that the heart. This is why ancient egyptians didnt care about the brain but they wanted to preserve the hearth.
Wow! I just came across your videos and the only thing I can say is that you're the best. You mix asmr and knowledge and I think it's fantastic. Thanks.
