Grizel articulates the struggle of not receiving the love one craves and the challenge of understanding each other's love languages.
Grizel says: “I wrote this song during a breakup, while venting to a friend who was living a similar situation. We had an epiphany on how my ex didn’t know how to read my love language, and I remember thinking I’m going to use this in a song, and here we are."
