- So I’ve been doing these short hair edits of pre-S5 Catra on my Instagram and Tumblr and someone joked on one of my community posts that at this point I’m gonna reanimate the whole series… I guess they weren’t wrong ^^’
(I’m kidding tho, I'm not reanimating the whole series but maybe just a few more scenes in the future👀)
On a side note, I’m not sure what to call this. I thought “reanimation” fit but “edit” also doesn’ feel right either🤔

Hey guys! I think I may have caused some confusion ^^’ I don’t think “reanimation” was an accurate word to describe what I did here, but maybe “edit” or something would describe it better (however, I can’t change that now). For clarification, all I did was animate the hair and replace the background, this was just more extensive than my typical edits because it was multiple frames and it needed to flow/be consistent (which is just animation). Basically, this is just a classic case of an artist fucking around and not knowing how to describe it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ all credits go to the original animators of She-Ra ^^ (which I put in the description)
Edit: I modified the title and description, hopefully it’s a little more accurate now! ^^
Edit 2: when I said “however, I cant change that now” I meant I can’t change the word “reanimated” in the side by side without taking down the video and reuploading it again, sry there was some confusion again
You changed the haircut and tbh I dine from pan sexual panic sooooo. I think it’s really good. Also you can see the work and effort put in so I think it looks flawless. Plus as you clearly label which is witch then it is fine you aren’t copping to gain profit from it so it’s not an issue. I think it was amazing.

Is actually easy to make this kind of trace and if she is just retracing the original scene and changing the hair is kinda easy if you're already an artist but takes a while

It’s actually pretty simple to do something like this. You just change the hair, that’s what they did lol
Edit: sorry if this came across as harsh or ill-intentioned, I was trying to say that if you were inspired to do something like this it doesn’t involve incredible amounts of experience and you should go for it. I wasn’t trying to drag the creator

Editted is indeed the proper word for this one, but it's still a nice edit regardless of nomenclature confusion. It flows fluidly with the original style, and unless you're looking very closely, it looks perfectly like the hair is supposed to be there(A few frames right before the end are slightly off as she tilts, but the turn, the more pronounced motion, is done very well) Good job.
