Hi, Darius. We hope you have been able to resolve your foot cramps. If not, we would suggest drinking water, as cramping can be because of dehydration. If that doesn't work and you need more information outside of the video, give us a call at 503.243.2699
Stretching your feet as soon as you feel foot cramp CAN help. It will hurt slightly but it's only for a few seconds and it does help A LOT! It's what I do all the time and it never fails me.
I had a cramp so bad it lasted 4 days. At that point it was thought to be gout, it wasn't. This video showed me it was muscle imbalance, I managed to force my foot open and it instantly cured it. (Again at the point it was not known if it was foot cramp) the doctor failed me in this and this video gave me back my foot. I'm so greatful!
For toe cramps, pull your toes up and backwards as far as you can and hold them there until the pain subsides. Doing this stretches out the muscles and gets rid of the pain. Slowly relax the toes back down as the pain diminishes.
Thanks, great information! When I get a cramp in my foot, I put it on a heating pad, and it goes away. Or under warm water in the tub. Keeping my feet warm in heavy socks in the winter helps quite a bit. I have Raynauds (circulatory problem) suspect it is connected .
My father has cramps for like 2 times a week already. There was one time while he was cleaning his car, he suddenly fell because he had cramps, I quickly helped him and he told me it's because he was exposed to the water for a few hours. He got cramps everytime he's in the water for a quite some time, that's what he said. I just want to ask for an advice because I don't like to see my father in pain because of cramps, I just want to help him. I've seen some 'What to do when you have cramps' videos, and some of them should be exposed to the water, but it won't probably work for my father. But also, thanks to this video I also learned a lot from this.
Its so painful, it feels like a muscle in my foot is squeezing together, Idk How to explain. I started screaming and crying because of How painful it was😂
I'm having those today in both feet. I've suffered these for many years, and they're incapacitating. It feels like my toes are being wrenched back by an invisible force, and it's terrible pain--an 8-10 on a scale of 1-10. All I can do is sit down and hold my toes.
thank you doctor i get this in my foot and in my calf of my leggs too i get this in boot for years and i dont no why. my feet an my leggs are very important to me i need to see a foot doctor about my feet and legg problems thank you dr for this wonderful information thank you. and you have a nice day
Amazing. I've been getting these for the past year and have been taking supplements, drinking tons of water, and thinking it was coffee, ice-cream and all sorts of things! It happens exactly as he said, in bed, swimming and when I point my toes downward. Thank you!
I had a cramp that lasted 45 minutes. it won't stop and would relax then seize right back up. I cry from the pain. It's embarrasing and excruciatingly painful.
Wow, you described muscle cramps so well. It IS EXCRUCIATING! And for some reason whoever is around me when it happens never understands what is going on. Mine last a long time too, I literally feel your pain 😥
Danggg 45 mins ? Mines might last up to 10-15 mins but no longer than that and i do understand how it wont stop the pain but start the lock up process over again
Your explanations of how the feet work, and muscle imbalances, are invaluable to people affected by fluoroquinolone toxicity / fluoroquinolone-associated disability. For me, your foot extensor work has removed virtually all diffuse, but powerful, pain in my body from hips to feet. Thank you.
Idk what a cramp is but I moved my foot and I suddenly felt an umbearable pain on my foot. This has happened before..one time..now its two times and I hate the feeling Dx
Yes! I noticed that if i stretched my feet weirdly, the inside/underside of my feet would start cramping, so since then i’ve been anxious about it. I’ve recently started to minimise shoe wear en did some exercises and it seemed to help a little
I'm a 71-year old man, and my right foot just started cramping about a week ago. It can happen at any time and can last for quite a while. It really hurts. I limp when trying to walk with it. I'm going to try the toe bend that a few people mentioned. I know if I stretch my legs too far in the morning, I can induce a really, really bad calf cramp. I always forget which way to bend my leg to stop the cramp almost immediately.
My shoes are flat but they have an arch in it for people with arches and some comfort cushion for foot numbing sensation (it doesn't get the burning sensation like when something is actually numb) mainly for people that either jump or run a lot, I mean I wear Bright Yellow Nike Air Harachi's I don't jump a lot but they're good shoes to have my next ones are gonna be for running though.
I walk in bare feet and wear flat shoes. I cramp a lot. What helps me believe it or not, is pickle juice, I drink a few mouthfuls, no more cramps 20 minutes later.
Thanks for the help! I just have one question. is it a foot cramp if the muscle directly behind the middle to and index toe is really hurting and you either wake up with it, and it happens 2 times a day sometimes?
i swear to god its the inner calf muscle thats so tight that is causing my toes and foot arch to cramp up but its so hard to find a good stretch for the inner calf muscle where i can actually feel it
I got one, and I was with my mom and I never look at my foot when it happens and I saw that my foot looked distorted. It hurt and looked stupid, so I laughed- My Toe stretches really far forward, and the rest are the other direction and its locked like that for awhile.
Finally! I've been trying to find out why I got a horrible toe cramp while swimming yesterday. It was almost incapacitating and I was trying to figure out what the heck happened.
That's me. I have been using Correct Toes for about a month now, and it is helping. I see that I am contacting the ground more with the balls of my feet, and I am regaining my arch ever so slightly, and the rest of my legs feel different. I am wondering what sort of progression time wise I should expect. My right foot seems to be progressing better the left. I see in some of your videos that people's rehabilitation take over a year. How would I know if and when I should add on material in the slots? Thanks, doc! Great product! I am a fan!
+Nicholas Fung We generally give a timeline of 1-3 years for lasting structural changes to occur, and we suggest to wait about 4-5 months before adding shim material to the large and/or small slots.
Hmm. I wonder if this is what happens to me. It always happens when I keep my toes pointed for a few seconds. Then, somewhere in my arch, I feel something immediately “lock” itself, seemingly getting tighter by the second. When I stop pointing my toes, it goes away.
It usually feels like my muscles are being stretched because usually happens when I'm stretching and in the bottom of the middle of the arch in my right foot. It happens after I stretch my foot and I turn it in a certain direction, I'd do it right now to see which direction that is but i can't stand that pain, plus I'd have to stretch my foot back to the left to relocate the muscle tissue. Anyone know how to get rid of this or do I just live with it and keep turning my foot whenever it happens to let my body get used to it so it doesn't hurt after a few weeks or months?
I sat on my bed and my foot started hurting and I started holding my foot in pain and I fell off my bed. The first time this happened was 2 or 3 years ago and I was swimming at public pool and I wanted to get out because my foot started cramping and it hurt so much. Once I was laying on my bed playing on my phone and my foot started hurt. Then I was in the pool at my house and it started hurting again and it felt weird.
I wear flat shoes but I get cramps every time I play sports in the rain or when my feet are exposed to cold water. The only thing that gives relief is when I put them in warm water for 5mins. No exercise helps when the cramps are bad. Putting them in warm water is the only solution for me so far.
I have plantar fasciitis, so I’ve been advised to wear shoes with lots of arch support. However, I also get foot cramps, especially when swimming laps. What type of shoe would you recommend for me?
I was told the same thing, after a bunion surgery. The surgery left my big toes still painful to bend back (even more so actually). After getting frustrated enough, I did the complete opposite of what the doctor told me and started wearing minimalist shoes. They tend to have a wide toe box, which was a big plus for my bunion problem, and my flat feet weren't actually bothered by the lack of cushion. Whenever I wore shoes with more cushion, my toes hurt so much more, and my arches--or lack thereof--fatigued much faster. This is just my experience with my weird feet, though. I'm no medical professional.
Sorry to hear that you're suffering from foot cramps. It can feel pretty terrible.Try switching to flat, wide, and flexible footwear--you'll be amazed at the difference it can make!
I am wearing a flat (Stan Smith)I still have it..do u know what can I do? I read that Stretching helps but I am gymnastic and I do a lott but nothing..
I've been getting foot cramps for the last year, every day when I rest after work or on my foot for a long period of time. And this all started with tendonitis now I have arthritis n inflammation in my right foot.

This happens to me too. Whenever I get a charlie horse in my calf, it takes 2 days to go away. People never believe me when I tell them this. They just reply "I eat a banana and it goes away." Well, that's nice but a banana doesn't work for me.
I get these on a daily basis but only on my right foot. I sleep with my right shoe 25/8 and shower with an old shoe. Trying to get this fixed because I want to leave off to the army

Thanks for checking out the video! There are a lot of things going on inside your foot. Foot cramping can happen at any time and because of that it can appear to be pretty random. However, it may not be as random as you think: anything from dehydration to muscle imbalances can result in cramps. Try and see if you notice a pattern!
My big toe locks in a down position with my toes straight out every time I get into bed and you can see the muscle on the inside of my foot flex and then it goes away and I get control back after 30 seconds but you can see muscles still contracting. It looks really cool tbh I’m only 20 so idk why this is happening
I just got one. But listening to this healing music on RUclips and drinking water. Then I searched and this first video. Lord help me. I know I need vitamins but I cant take pain. I’ve had cramps in legs but not in foot like this. Worst pain
What helps me with foot cramps is taking whatever shoe i have on and placing it flat on the ground. it goes away fast. Sadly, I always get foot cramps when I wear heels :( i don’t know why
I have had cramps for ages at night I wake up in pain horrible pain whenever I am asleep. I started taking multi vitamins and have not had a cramp since. means you may be deficient in a vitamin or certain area on your body.
What if the toes are naturally restong in an outward position? And is not something caused by shoes wit tie springs? The toes of my right foot have a more prominent upward natural position and has always been the foot that I am getting cramping. Anything mildly causing my toes to curl inward will give me cramping in between the toes ..it's so painful.
I have a war worn heels more than 2 1/2 inches those are cowboy boots I had to he’ll extend it but we’re talking about chunky heels my fryer boots that come on with excellent support like a custom orthopaedic insoles or a Birkenstock insole
after i got "floxed" my cramps in toes and feet and legs are so bad and in general at night. I take nothing as far as drugs from doctors. when i found out they harmed me, I got off all the meds they told me to take and Im better in general.
The last few years, pains in my foot and ankle seems to be getting worse it has affected me mentally, and physically and work ,and can't eat properly as well ,what can I do, in exercise and the right shoes
I am having these cramps for a year now since i had sepsis and started having seizures these cramos are horrid so bad its my toes and cramps up the shin bone i see my tendons contract so tight Can keppra cause cramps like this my seizure med? Please and thank you God bless you and your family ❤
what kind of cramp am I having where the cramp is like in the inner part of my foot on the bottom in the arch I think or somewhere near there and it happens randomly but often? I can also trigger this cramp sometimes if I like force my big toe down instead of up, just my big toe
Its weird, I was super dehydrated for like 9 years only drinking soda or nothing for days and never got these cramps. Then recently I started drinking only water for about a month now and suddenly get a massive cramp on the arch of my foot. I don’t understand but I was too scared to move my foot for about an hour just laying on the floor.
One time I was tipy toeing and then a hole was created in on the side of my foot and it felt like someone just stabbed me and I kept holding my foot until the hole that was created was gone and I don’t know what it is and what causes it?
who here caught a cramp in the foot right before researching this? had to jump out of bed and walk it off 3 times tonight 😟

Most common reason in my experience: dehydration.. If you get a lot of cramps, try drinking a lot more water.
Yeah I must do that. I'm terrible at drinking. I can't seem to drink a lot.

My big toe locks in a down position with my toes straight out every time I get into bed and you can see the muscle on the inside of my foot flex and then it goes away and I get control back after 30 seconds but you can see muscles still contracting. It looks really cool tbh I’m only 20 so idk why this is happening
My foot cramps come when my feet get too cold. I literally have to go run hot water in them to warm them up to stop the cramps. 🥴
I just got one. But listening to this healing music on RUclips and drinking water. Then I searched and this first video. Lord help me. I know I need vitamins but I cant take pain. I’ve had cramps in legs but not in foot like this. Worst pain
I get it ONLY when I stretch my feet in a certain direction (I think I accidentally pinch my muscle and cause the cramp 🤷♂️)
How much calcium, potassium and magnesium do you need?
Sometimes I sleep and then my foot just cramp
Oooo it’s bc I just got done with snowboarding and I’m always on my toes 😂😂
I have a war worn heels more than 2 1/2 inches those are cowboy boots I had to he’ll extend it but we’re talking about chunky heels my fryer boots that come on with excellent support like a custom orthopaedic insoles or a Birkenstock insole
This video was incredibly informative
So glad to hear that! We are happy to help. Thank you :)
I kept telling my doctor I get cramps when I put my foot under the covers--wow can’t believe he called it out that one of my problems.
Agreed! The foot cramps under the covers sensation is strangely common.
after i got "floxed" my cramps in toes and feet and legs are so bad and in general at night. I take nothing as far as drugs from doctors. when i found out they harmed me, I got off all the meds they told me to take and Im better in general.

POV: You were just vibing and then your foot started cramping for no reason
Its weird, I was super dehydrated for like 9 years only drinking soda or nothing for days and never got these cramps. Then recently I started drinking only water for about a month now and suddenly get a massive cramp on the arch of my foot. I don’t understand but I was too scared to move my foot for about an hour just laying on the floor.
It could be an electrolyte issue, possibly potassium.
One time I was tipy toeing and then a hole was created in on the side of my foot and it felt like someone just stabbed me and I kept holding my foot until the hole that was created was gone and I don’t know what it is and what causes it?
