How to plasti dip your car Badges/Emblems Simple and affordable car mod

This is a tutorial on how you can do a cheap and easy mod to any car that will make your emblems pop and stand out from the crowd!
There are many brands of “plasti-dip” or rubber paint available for around $5-10. You can pick up a can at your local hardware store or online. Several different colors are available. In this video we demonstrate the step by step of “dipping” the emblem and badge on our Hyundai Reina.
I recommend using the following items to make it as simple as possible: Masking tape, paper, cleaning cloth (preferably microfiber), Qtips/cotton buds, toothpicks.
Clean the areas you want to paint and remove all the dirt/dust between letters and around your emblems.
Tape off the surrounding areas but leave a little space so you have something to grab when you are ready to peel off the dried product. The toothpicks are very useful here as they wont scratch your car’s finish. NOTE: Don’t worry if you get some spray on your car’s finish. This can be easily buffed out with a cleaning cloth.
The peeling process is a little bit tedious as you need to be careful not to accidentally remove the plasti-dip from the lettering. Just take your time and you will have a great looking finished product!
