- Day 3 of my trip- EPCOT! So much to see and do, and so many to meet! it's a day of fun, adventure and discovery as I visit the park I used to work at.
Not only did I work in theme parks for 10 years, I've visited a whole lot of them as well. Here's some stories of great visits, not so great visits, favorites, reviews, and much more.

I laughed when you were on Spaceship Earth and were filming the ancient Egyptians and your text about "some of the fans I got to meet" came up. I knew you had fans, but I didn't realize it crossed time and space! 22:38
LOL I was waiting and wondering when someone would notice and comment on that. it was a slip during editing (different video tracks that ended up lined up in different places) that I thought was really funny when I saw it. so I left it.

I wish i got to spend more time in Epcot when our band performed down there. We performed on a stage that i forgot where it is and then we left.

I know it was something that they were trying that was new. I don't know if they were doing it any other nights than that one, but I doubt that it would be in any other locations. as many people as they had there- even had a manager watching the whole thing and live viewing it on a tablet- it was pretty obviously an experiment for them

I loved it! Got some great feedback at the park on it as well.
Fun fact: you can see Tower of Terror from the Morocco pavilion, at the right angle.
We didn't do Club Cool on our visit since we hadn't let our girls at 2 and 5 have soda and we couldn't figure out how to get in without them wanting some and then having a melt down when told no.
OH MY GOODNESS! Starting At 5:05 , the lady with the green and blue striped bag is my grandma! And when you turn around in the perfume shop a few seconds later, my dad and stepmom are looking at the table! The lady with ripped jeans is her!!

OH MY GOD! I'm in the video. When you are in the gift shop in france, my mother in law is the person sitting in the dining area to the right of the screen in the blue shirt with the blonde hair and I'm the person in the white stormtrooper beanie next to her. Its funny because we were quoting you all day when we saw stupid disney tourists. I kept saying, "I dont want to go on the bus! I want to go on the monorail!" Its a shame i didnt look to the right of me to see you. I was too engulfed in my pastry.

its my fault. i get too lost in food. my fiancee says that we go to disney so many times that we will eventually run into one of our disney youtubers. PS, you can see the top half of her face for a split second. shes mostly blocked off by the mug display

No Figment ride???? No? But then, I guess the ride has changed a bit since it charmed me in the late 1990s (and I haven't been able to visit Epcot again). SOMEWHERE, I have the entire ride on VHS, which I couldn't resist filming on our 3rd or 4th ride through. When I find it, that ride may be the first VHS I convert to DVD. Figgy was probably my last NEW encounter with a child-like sort of Disney Magic, so Figment will forever hold a sentimental place in my heart. Glad you were able to cover so much ground in Epcot!!
Believe it or not, Journey Into Imagination had a 30 minute wait most of the day! I love the ride, but won't wait that long for it.
SirWillow I understand that you had to conserve your time. Figment's in our imagination where he will always live as he should!
As far as I know the old Soarin' over California only had CG at the very end with the fireworks and Tinkerbell all the flybys were real. You went all over the place that day and I'm surprised we didn't see you since we were there all day too. We did run into a few people from the meetup over in Japan.
It still hurts they got rid of the awesomeness of Maelstrom for a ride that belongs in the Magic Kingdom.

That bakery in france is Wonderful I always eat there everything is so good
Epcot is the Best
looks so fun!! I wish I could have gone to more parks, but I was in Orlando for a conference and since work was paying for it, I think they would prefer I go to the conference. I did get to Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom open to close and Seaworld for an afternoon.

I know its been a few years but anyone you worked with still there and did you find them?
If you watch the other video on Epcot (favorite places to shoot) there was a photographer in it I used to work with. there are a few others around as well, including one I got together with.
