- ■ AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS: Never have I ever encountered a hotel breakfast I've enjoyed. With no burgers, pizza or pasta bolognese on the menu, how could I? When I saw the price of the breakfast at Hilton airport hotel in Amsterdam was a whooping $30, and urge to investigate it came over me.
So what did the breakfast consists of and is it worth the money?
YES!!!
For a man that's traveled the world you'd think he's come across a poached egg once or twice.
or a harsh brown lmao is made from a potato but really a hashbrown

@@boohere2 He order based on the paper asked by hotel, each category only pick 1, he do it. However, he didn't expect that when he pick hard boil egg, he will get not 1 but 3 egg. Lol. Same goes to other food. He pick 1 type of bread, but he get more than 1. Thats why it look so many.

That's a breakfast for an NFL Linebacker. Hey I love Amsterdam. Spent 3 weeks there in 1988 at ty Hotel Vincent Van Gogh. It was run by the nicest guys from Sri Lanka. Harold enjoy your travels. Live it up!

A poached egg is when it's cracked from the shell straight into boiling water to be cooked, with a runny yolk inside the cooked whites.

Poached egg is like boiled in water such as in an Eggs Benedict usually cooked with a runny yok. Love the videos. Keep it up!
Even boiled eggs are "boiled in water". The key difference is that poached eggs are BROKEN INTO the water and the egg whites form a layer around the yolk, while a full boiled egg is boiled with the shell on.
You missed this key part of your explanation, even though you obviously know what a poached egg is.

26 euro for that breakfast is unbelievable in a hotel. Especially at the airport.
I'm not certain this really is our Harald he didn't say "Yes, yes" a single time but most telling was that he said he was signing off and then he did right away. Also he looked at the shower head but forgot to even mention Noodles! So many clues that this is obviously an imposter!!! Where is our real Harald, what have 'They' done with him???

I thought so as well, especially with the mini fridge in the room. One exception, he seemed to be checking out that day so possibly no use to keep the food for a snack.
Make some sandwiches 🥪 and our for the day yes I agree .. wasting food or just not being aware of the issue .. but they want 26 pounds / euros so they embellish .. or someone in the kitchen was obviously a fan 👋

Writing ‘Pork O’Clock’ on the on the breakfast menu selection card, and the staff responds with humor. 😆 But I cannot believe all of that food only cost $30. In the US it would have cost twice that much easily.

A poached egg is an egg cooked outside the shell, by poaching sometimes steaming. As apposed to simmering or boiling. Very good

For $30 that breakfast looked like a bargain especially for room service which is usually notoriously expensive. Poached Eggs BTW are eggs that are cooked in boiled water - either directly in the water (that must be in a swirl motion with vinegar added) or in a special pan. The egg centers are soft and they are best served on toast. Eggs Benedict Eggs are cooked this way. The potato dish is called hash-brown and are a staple on McDonalds breakfast menu. Looking forward to seeing where you are headed!
poached is when they crack the egg into warm water, often they create a little whirlwind in the water so the egg forms well

poached egg is like in a pot of water and u stir it then crack the egg in there while u spin it then take it out 1m later then youll see in very soft and yokey idk its like 5am
