Absolutely lovely. These cakes never really caught my eye because I couldn’t think of anyone who would want one. And for what occasion. But it is growing on me because of your tutorials! Thank you!

They are quite over the top aren't they haha but I've had people request them for weddings, birthdays, and other parties before!

I love how relaxing the Lambeth method is! It puts me in a zen state of mind. Of course as always, thank you for sharing your beautiful work! It has inspired me to try new techniques that freshen up even the most old fashioned of Victorian cake design. I first discovered your channel when I subscribed to the Sugar Geek Show. It taught me how to make the best gum paste and gum paste flowers, your decadent chocolate cake along with your Italian buttercream and royal icing recipes! I may not be a professional baker, but with your amazing teaching skills, it has made me reevaluate my career path, even though I’m 45 😂 Thank you

Watching videos on the Lambeth method also put me in a similar state of mind. I think my brain likes watching others put so much detail and time into their job/craft/hobby.

The drop strings on the cake is absolutely amazing! That's so so cool how you do that without it breaking. It makes the cake look delicate.

Wonderdul tutorial and excellent skill! It would take me forever 😅 How do you stop your fondant from drying out or sweating during all this delicate, time consuming work?

    • @FinespunCakes

It does tend to dry out a bit which is fine. I try to keep my room at 21C and 45% humidity when working
