Another brilliant video. The memories of walking through the underpass as a kid going to the then National Media Museum cane flooding back. Even though it always smelt of urine I'ts sad to see it go.
Hey Riaz hope your good, I can remember going through these when i was younger and i always found them creepy to go through, i would either walk fast or run, but it is a shame to see yet more landmarks are going, I'm off to watch the selfless giant and I'll catch you next time on another amazing video, stay safe out there ❤
it would be interesting too see whats behind the subways walls. the open part. imagine digging deep to build them. the open part behind the walls wilo be hiding some gems

My Grandfather helped with plastering and the original mosaics in the subways in Bradford city centre, I remember going to see him at work
Really interesting mosaics in there that depict the city. Thank you 👍🏾

The underpass is very sentimental to a lot of us. Especially going across to what was the central library. Thanks 👍🏾
Used to go to Bradford library back in early 1980s….this subway was a creep place at night.😊
Good old days , but creepy nights 🌙

Bet you are glad to see the back of them 😂.
Yes , it's a great little local movie. Enjoy and catch you soon.
That would have made a beautiful garden space with benches in the circle
I didn't know it was going...must have had my last walk through it and not known
The location of many freestyle and music videos over the years.
👍🏾
I must have walked through Jacobs Well hundreds of times over the decades .. sad to see it go ..
In the early 70s if I just missed the Queensbury bus. I could run through them subways and catch it at Little Horton Road. 😂
Bit of a shortcut. Lol

Just putting out there that Jacobs well is a biblical and quranic story....ie yaqubs well😃I wonder who decided to name this area🤔
Excellent question ! 🤔
Did there use to be a kiosk thing in the middle ?
Don't think so , but I am sure there were a few shops near forster Square end.
@@BradfordThroughTheLens I remember the paper shop at foster square subway my mum used to get me a chocolate bar for the train x

These subways were part me when I used to go to the central library.
I always wondered what was behind the metal door at 8:26
My guess is that its electrics.
