The bottle design and colors are pretty, but for some reason the lettering gives dollar tree perfumes, looks soo cheap.

Traditional red velvet cake actually gets its color from a chemical reaction that happens when you add vinegar to the cake mix which was done to make the cake fluffier, That’s why red velvet also tastes different than regular chocolate cake and it’s less dense ❤

Love when my fav perfume people review fragrances I'm interested in!! I'm really interested in YRM and IMH, I will say I heard people talking crap about the bottles and due to lighting in some others videos I was leaning on that side but they actually look really pretty in person. It's not a designer fragrance so I don't get why people are being so harsh. I think this was a good debut.
Also congrats on finishing your undergrad!! Sending peace and love your way. This year started out trash to me but it's quickly becoming more promising.
Many well known brands use plastic as a cap on a glass bottle, ex Versace, YSL, Kayali etc. If the perfume smells good and lasts long, I'm buying!

packaging is important to me and this is giving cheap and ugly. 😂 i would rather a simple and boring bottle then something tacky
I think the cap and lettering needed to be more high end.
These fragrances sound nice and I'm a fan of Jackie but these bottles are truly not aesthetically elegant at all :X Hopefully the juice makes up for it!
Did you know, btw? That Mona Kattan of KAYALI revealed a secret..that Perfumers don't list all the Notes? They just list Key notes only? So, if you smell something that's not listed, then it in there!!!!!👌

It's a shame because I know jackie aina has a big fragrance collection herself, but i find all of these so lacklustre in terms of marketing - the bottles have this awful dollar store font that makes them look so cheap, the brand name is questionable. There's zero care in how these things are marketed and whatever story the scent profile is trying to tell is impossible to distinguish with these generic looking bottles. It just comes across as another cash grab from another influencer when there's zero effort put in to the finishing touches. No matter how good they smell, who is going to want a bottle that looks like these on their vanity next to bottles like libre or poison :/ looks like as a fragrance head jackie put all of the effort into getting a good juice, which is of course the most important thing, but completely forgot about the consumer experience. But your review was super detailed and almost made me want to pick one up, which is crazy when i'm such a bottle girl 😭
Emma!!!! I’m a perfume blogger myself and I’ve been binging your vids for the past few days. Your enthusiasm for vanilla actually made me try my first vanilla forward fragrance lololol. I recently acquired a sample of Odette by Gumamina and I truly think you’d love it and should check it out, I’d totally wanna hear your thoughts. It’s photorealistic (in context, not necessarily food-like) and the dry down is the prettiest fluffy vanilla ever!!!
I immediately thought You Remind Me gave me similar vibes to Burberry Goddess but less punchy without the ginger and more skin scent like. I’m currently waiting for Hard to Get!

It felt like reading the lost hero from the pjo series again cause I was bouncing around so much. (Unlike the lost hero, I loved it. Cause in lost hero, we got Jason, and I was like A. I need help.. I blind bought Hermes sur le toit and I hate it. It's supposed to smell like a "secret garden", Angela nyqvist said it smelled like apple and grass, all I get is grass. Grass grass grass. I'd like to find a true apple perfume or something to balance it out. DKNY apple doesn't layer well with it.
I have a question. Is there a perfume out there that smells like the candle from Better Homes and Gardens in the scent Amber and Saffron?
The packaging and the cap definitely are a turn off.. for example the cap is a slightly different color and not glass. The thin plastic box is also not it… if I was the brand I would try to find a signature font, make the cap either black or metal, and instead of putting the names of the fragrance on the bottle I would leave it off, and just put the brand insignia on the bottle
So much hate for jackie and the packaging but she isnt a millionaire and she wants to save money. The scent smell bomb and that's all that matters. Yall will literally supoort the most vile people yet hate on her

Raspberry & Oud - the perfume I most associate with this combination is Ombre Nomade by Louis Vuitton, but I don't suppose that "I am Her" is anything like Ombre Nomade - what do you think @perfumerism ?
It’s nothing like Ombré Nomade to me- I don’t smell oud to my nose, and if so, it’s a whisper of oud. I smell more patchouli than oud! To me, this reminds me of something like Sí or Flowerbomb, where the fragrance has a strong earthy base while still appealing to Sephora’s demographic.
Hey, love your videos! I'm curious, what characterizes a perfume as "layerable?" I feel like layering fragrances has become really popular lately and idk much about perfumes, but I have only ever worn one at a time.
You know what, I don’t really think it means anything. Most fragrances are made to stand alone, but layering is popular at the moment for people who want a “unique” personal combination. Layering also encourages consumers to wear more than one fragrance. In terms of fragrance formulation, “layerable” might mean that you can mix & match these 4 perfumes together, but you can technically do that for any perfume, so it’s more of a marketing term than anything
