I'm glad I already had dinner or the bacon would be coming out. Another informative video. Great job Mr Walker.. going to get a couple of these one for my son.
MegaWoodswalker what I would do is rub it down with a very very thin film of flax seed oil, and bake the pan in the over at 485° F for about and hour. Let it cool, and repeat the process four more times. It’ll be non stick after that, but just be careful not to scratch the glaze off with metal utensils.
Great review, based on your review I'm going to go ahead and pull the trigger on that fry pan. Thanks again for the video Worshipful.... ATB, Keith Alabama Bushcrafters
Hey Walker. Love the videos. Quick question. When you take steak or the sacred bacon out on the trail how do you keep it cool. Do you worry at all about it? I thought maybe just packing it and eating it within a day would be ok? What about warm weather? Has it ever been a problem for you? Please help.
I use one of those soft flexible coolers with blue ice pack. If inside my pack out of the sun it's good enough for an overnighter. I wouldn't push it past that. Multiple days I take food which doesn't need to be cool. Thanks for watching!
Biolite cookstove 2. I am working on a review. The firestarters are these. ruclips.net/video/rZKdp3rYpwM/видео.html the wood pellets were packed though it will burn sticks just fine. Thanks for watching!
MegaWoodswalker Kk, thanks. I'm new to prepping and not trying to be "that person" who's always complaining about this or that. I was Ginuwinely curious because I had never seen that before. I honestly think that it's nice to have something easy to use in a grid down shtf situation because if everything else is going wrong you don't want other bs that's difficult. But will have 2 other back up options for what I need and want to do (primative and modern). I was honestly just curious about what the wood was and why it was being used just in case it might be useful to know later. I'm not guy who's always complaining about random stuff
It would probably warp being thinner if put empty on a hot fire fire an extended period but must have used Ti on open flames hundreds of times. No issue. Thanks for watching!
Your steak looked very nice so with that bacon, I have bought the little toaks frying pan and it fits my solo pot 1800, nice review of the keith frying pan .... O and did you know that biolite stove make a annoying sound in the video....
Yes. I am reviewing the stove so actually using it multiple times first. Noise is being listed as a con. On the pro side it can power it self and actually produce an excess of 1.7 Watts per my tests. Converting wood into electricity. I can also 1/2 charge my phone from the internal battery. I find the biolite cookstove produces less sound than the campstovr 2. Should be done with the review soon. Thanks for watching!
Anyone find a good pot cover for these? I have the 1L fry pan and love it, but why do companies sell a fry pans with out cover for an option I’ll never know -_-
aliexpress has the entire range of keith and toads titanium items, from cups to plates to cutlery and frying pans. and their buyer protection is a bit better than ebay.
hello, here is the Amazon seller, we'd like to sponsor you some of our outdoor camping gadgets, shall I have your email? We can discuss about it furthur, here is mine:lzp504052474@gmail.com. Sorry to bother you, thanks for your time.
I'd recommend you take the cooked bacon out before adding that other big slab of meat, rather than rubbing the bacon into the raw meat like that as you were getting it into your plate!
I ended up going with an MSR Alpine frying Pan. It's definitely not light weight but it has a aluminum plate fused to the bottom of it to disperse heat and cooks like a skillet from home.
So unhealthy to eat burn food like this. Also you should run pan on fire to get rid of first chemical stuff out of it before putting the food on the pan.
Yes you are missing something.. As the title states this is a review of a fry pan so I kinda gotta fry something. It's not an ultra light camping video. Thanks for watching!
Always sad when I stumble upon his videos. Miss this mad lad.

Thanks for watching!
When I grow up, I want to be a skywalker too. lol. But I'm still learning the ways of the force.
LOL! Thanks for watching!
great video. How effective would be the polishing of the pan surface to make it non stick? thanks
I actually find when the insides get blacked thin Ti is less pron to stick. IMO.

The video was great except it was too short. I heard you say that the scorched food can be cleaned off easily in the field... I need to see it.
great vid with honest review. maybe I should get some of there equipment so I could have my cook ware monogramed lol
Thanks for watching!
Dude that steak look delicious not to mention the sacred bacon and those two badass frying pans
Everything is better with bacon! Thanks for watching!
I wonder if you could season that pan like a cast iron one?
My initial answer is no but it seems over time the smaller pan is getting easier to cook on. Maybe carbon build up etc etc. Thanks for watching.
Yea. Maybe thats the ticket then. As usual thanks for doing these reviews. I love them mqn and can't get enough. Much love brother...
Hey There, have yo weighed your keith pan? If so, can you please share the weight? Not the manufactures stated weight, but the actual weight.

I guess I've never seen the review of the cook stove u used to cook on what stove is it
That's a biolite campstove 2. Working on the review now. Thanks for watching!
MegaWoodswalker looking forward to your biolite review.
Kevin nice and meal. Do the pellets burn cleaner, seemed like no smoke to speak of.
Yes they also burn like that on regular wood gas stoves. Thanks for watching.
Name of the cooker and matches and wood for the burner?

MegaWoodswalker going to watch the link now. What was that packed wood? It looked more like pellets
Those are pellets. I like to use them because of the lack of smoke and loooong no fuss burn in wood gas stoves but will also use twigs.

MegaWoodswalker thanks for the info
Does the bottom part gives even heat?
Thin Ti cookware kinda sucks in that regard. The reason I pack Ti is for weight. Thanks for watching!
@@MegaWoodswalker thanks mate for sharing those things though.God bless you 👍
Looks good
Thanks for watching!
I thought you can’t put a titanium frying pan on a open flame. Is that correct?
It would probably warp being thinner if put empty on a hot fire fire an extended period but must have used Ti on open flames hundreds of times. No issue. Thanks for watching!
Nice show thanks

Didn't you tried to season it with some sacred bacon or with some vegetable oil?
It doesn’t really work like cast iron. Thanks for watching!
I know nothing about titanium cookware but can it be seasoned?
Not that I am aware of. Thanks for watching!
