Exactly! When cats are sick or in pain they withdraw from people. Now that she is feeling better, she feels like she can trust them. Can't wait for the moment she comes asking for pets for the first time.

I see a video with Audrey in it and I immediately click. This update makes my heart so happy! You can tell that she is definitely feeling better and trusting you all. It's hard for a feral cat to learn to trust that humans can be kind; trust me, we tamed one and it took probably 6 months for her to come near us and then maybe a year total for her to trust us. Audrey has definitely found the perfect home.

Audrey is definitely more relaxed - I think her teeth were really bothering her! I predict Soo will wake up one of these days with an orange cat sprawled out on top of him 🐱♥️
I love all of the Audrey's behavioral updates & improvements, I remember how spicy & stressed out she was when you first got her indoors, but now she exploring, getting close to her human, relying on her human for help, waiting for Soo when he steps out. Give her a couple more months and she'll soon accept pets & love from y'all too :3

This made me wonder if only we had known about the tooth problem first and with how Audrey is much more accepting after the surgery, her ear infection treatment might have been much easier to treat too.
If Audrey becomes attached to Soo, it’ll be interesting to see both Bongi and Audrey fight for Soo’s affection.

I mash the wet food into some water so it becomes like a soup for my cat. That way I know she gets extra hydration :)

it is so wild how much more relaxed she is now that her teeth aren't making her miserable. it's incredible. everything about her is so much calmer - her facial expressions, her ears, her posture, the way she sits and moves. she must have been so fucking miserable and in so much pain, and I'm so so so glad she's feeling better and that she's going to keep feeling better as her mouth fully heals.
the rest of her life is going to be so full of love and peace and happiness.
It is official! 😂🤣 Audrey is now Soo’s cat! 🤣🤣 she is Bonji’s twin. so funny she even followed him into the toilet! That’s how you know she’s accepted him as her human! 👏🏾👏🏾

The stretching from Audrey is a great sign. My cat stretches to let me know he is comfortable with me and is confident in my presence. He will also do it as a way to invite me to pet or cuddle with him or in response to my inviting him to come cuddle with me. I just laugh because he stretches first so I figured it’s a way of letting me know he likes the offer and is on his way. 😂

Mejoo and Soo... Thank you so much for taking such sweet care of Audrey. You do so much for the stray kitty community it warms my heart to witness it. Do not worry Audrey is coming along sooooo well for her being an outdoor kitty up until when you took her in to the cafe, she is making HUGE progress. I took in a feral kitty after she gave birth on my porch and her actions were exactly like what Audrey is doing right now. The fact that she is getting closer to Soo shows she is about to break and get closer. It is really strange it is like one day a switch turns on and their behavior changes completely. My feral babygirl has been in my home now 9 years is a complete indoor kitty and wants no part of outdoor life anymore *lol* be cautious though... For a little while Audrey will try and bolt out the door or window if given the chance but that will not last much longer. She is already working on getting closer to humans I can't believe how close she got with Soo. Job well done to both of you. All your kitties are so blessed to have you both as their Mom and Dad.

That sliding door thing they have on their office door is honestly an amazing idea for people who live with cats. Makes going in and out much safer. Did they ever mention what it was or how it works?
I can’t tell you how exciting it is to see every update of lady Audrey’s progress. I didn’t notice when she was at the cafe just how pretty she is and just how expressive her little face can be. Sending lots of love to the brave lady Audrey!

Awwww...Audrey has not only come close but has do the stretching infront of you...it is a sign of trust. Just like a normal cat will stretch when they see you. However, it is still a little more to go. But very very good sign!!! So excited!! 👍👍👍😸🧸❤️🏡🙏🙆🙋

She probably is much more herself and her personality will come out more now that she is not in pain. Pain can make any human or animal act differently. Maybe she made the connection that she is now not in pain after being with humans. Which life as a street cat can be the opposite ♡ I'm sure she will get more trusting/ vocal/ confident/ comfortable now that her teeth and ears don't hurt :) you guys are doing great
