Ya. Out of all the characters. Which I like them all. Georgie became the most mature out of everyone. Once he knocked that girl up. He started a massive journey.
So proud of Georgie saying how he feels. He finally called her out on her wishy washy behavior and she finally grew up and made a decision.

I think what gets overlooked in this show is that Mandy and Georgie genuinely talk about their feelings and issues. Like it does tend to look like your average couples argument but their relationship is a lot healthier than a lot of real life ones

The direction the Mandy character has taken in her development, maturing and being accepting of Georgie, is growing on me.
Maybe then people will stop blaming Mandy for everything like Georgie is perfect

HELL YEAH with the original folks playing georgie and mandy and a girl playing cee cee like missy. OH MY GOD that is a comedy that writes itself. can you just see a 5 yr old cee cee with missy like attitude? That is a show I will record from episode one.
@@RT22-pb2pp nope. Georgie's first wife is no longer around when he turns 19, which means she either dies or the two separate. Old Sheldon narrates this back in s1.

i never thought that i would love Georgie as a character, but definitely i love these two
I enjoy the writing for the emotional maturity Georgie has achieved throughout this time. You can truly see his process, how he’s doing it, what he’s doing. The clarity is amazing and subtle until the tension builds in such a natural way un ironically when you’re at a place to release that. Simply good writing and homework

That is pretty much likely what happened maybe he married someone else once then. They got remarried

you know this is tv series right? not real life. they don't have the ideal for YS when they make TBBT.
It's probably similar to a Leonard/Penny situation where they broke up many times but married in the end.

I thought the season finale was great. It contrasts the conclusion of Season 5 in which the Coopers were falling apart. The tornado really was a wake-up call for Missy.
Though Sheldon does say in the narration that she snuck out about 30 times in the summer and got a belly button piercing 😂
@@showbizroxs I agree. Guess it takes time to really get your act together. I don’t think Sheldon ever had anything positive to say about his family other than Mary.
Many have suggested that Sheldon befriended Penny because she reminded him of Mandy. Don't know if that's true, but when she asks Georgie to the spa, there's a few lines where her cadence and tone remind me very much of Penny. Obviously different voices but I can close my eyes and picture Penny and Leonard having this conversation.
Mandy definitely is the one closest to Penny among his other family members
Penny and Missy have more in common
Penny shares Missy's wit, and care for others. But she also has the same wishy-washiness Mandy had.
I think it stems from recognizing a quality guy and being afraid to commit because it seems too good to be true.
I like Mandy & Georgie storyline a great deal can explode sfrom their storyline MARRIED NOT A divorce

Nobody in school ever asked how my parents met. A lot of people just bonded over their parents' large age difference. Apparently it was super common in my middle school. My parents were only two years apart. Many kids in my class have parents 10-20 years apart.

the issue is that neither of them know what they themselves want and they both want to make sure the other one gets what they want. georgie wants to make sure that mandy ain't just doin' it for him, cause he wouldnt want to force her to marry a 17 year old. she also cares deeply for georgie. its fuckin too complex...

Sheldon's preparation for the summer fellowship was brief, so CeCe's not had much time to grow, although her parents' willingness to leave her, even for a day, does indicate their new parent jitters are diminishing. As far as sequels or prequels or spin offs go- I doubt if any one managed to achieve their own fan base like Young Sheldon did. The writting keeps getting better as characters mature.

@@stellasmom2017 that is just speculation but everything seems to point in that direction. Young Sheldon has the built in end date when his dad died, and networks hate to let go of a money maker. Plus the cute factor fades as the kids get older, I expect that Cece will fill that role.
