Such a great haul, Melanie! I purchased two Goose Creek Melts that were in a destash and I love Espresso Cake Pops. I think I put two of the slices in my warmer but could put in one since it was a stronger scent. I didn’t get any wax in the scent just espresso. I haven’t tried Marshmallow Cream yet. I am so sorry you are dealing with anxiety and I’m praying that it will be reduced. I have dealt with it since I was a child and am currently dealing with it now. In my case it is since there will be changes in my current job. That is such a crazy and memorable story about the owl. This happened before I was born. In my area we have deer and my mom told me when she was driving home from her aunt and uncle’s house she saw a deer so close she could see its eyelashes! I can imagine this was such a surprise for my mom. I hope you and your family have a wonderful weekend!
Thanks for opening up about your anxiety, you are not alone! I do feel like it is something we need to learn how to deal with it and find whatever tricks we can to help ourselves, it won’t really ever be “cured”. This may sound strange to you but I cut gluten out of my diet and it has helped my anxiety tremendously.
I believe this completely. When I eat clean foods like fruit & veg and cut out the rest I always feel so much better. I’m definitely cutting out the gluten and sugar for a while.
Thank you for being real and sharing, Melanie. Talking to your family doctor could be helpful if you’re interested in trying medication and/or therapy to cope with it. So many people have anxiety and there is help for it. I struggled with it for a long time because I was scared of meds and thought it was manageable on my own. Once I got past that hurdle, I wondered why I waited so long. Life is so much better on the other side of it. I’m wishing you well in your pursuit 🤍 Thank you also for introducing me to a new wax vendor. I’ve been perusing their site and found so many I want to try 😊

Carrot cake pop sounds amazing!!! I can’t wait to see your review on these . I got some Goosecreek not long ago and so far, they have been doing much better than my previous Goosecreek wax melts.

When it happens I start up my diffuser pop in some essential oils and just breathe in a room by myself and it helps a bit, so I understand you being in your room. I have not tried goose creek, but going to give it a try here soon. Looking forward to hearing your warm reviews on these wax melts. Holy cow that is crazy about the owl, we have one that lives in our backyard about 4 months out of the year. 🦉 Feel better soon.

Mental health is so important, and it's so overlooked. 😢 I am thinking of you sweet girl.❤ I love Goose Creek, and my all-time faves have been Sugared Donuts, Perfect Day, Autum, Strawberry Jam, and Marshmallows. They can be waxy smelling on cold, but that scent dissipates. Also, use your hottest warmers for these for the best performance. Love you and take care😊🥰

That's cool that GC is shipping to Canada. Good for you!😊 I use one piece in my Scentsy warmers, two pieces in my Yankee and other hot plate warmers that have larger dishes. I know some people who take the whole thing and place it in their Easy Melt dishes for the Yankee Scenterpiece warmers. I haven't tried that, but it seems to work well. This is Christmas is a dupe for BBW's The Perfect Christmas. One of my favorite scents! Also love Christmas Magic - so good! My favorite of the gingerbread wax from GC is Gingerbread Man. Yum! I enjoy Pumpkin Pound Cake. It smells a lot like BBW's Pumpkin Cinnamon Bun. Marshmallow Snowcream is yummy, but my fave is Marshmallow Sugar - so darn good.😄

Some are great and then some really smell like retail wax. It’s a mixed bag.
