Another great sleep story, and a bit of learning provided by Vicki Morris (thank you). Like you, Laurel, I had to look up this amazing tree! Before I'd even had my coffee, I was online checking it out and, just wow, I used to go to the Moana Hotel on Oahu and sit under the huge Banyan tree to listen to the beautiful songs of Old Hawaii. It was where my family would take visitors. Little did I know that tree was historically famous. I did know it was ancient because I've sat under that full-grown tree since I was six years old, and I was there again in 2019. My sisters and I put some of our mother's ashes under that memorable tree. To give you an idea of how long I've been friends with the tree, I turned 70 years old this year on February 23, 2023. 🙏

BY FAR THE BEST SLEEP STORY CHANNEL ON RUclips!!!! I love that you get right into the story & never waste time with the generic usual “relaxation” exercises like every other channel does (relax your foot muscles, take a deep breath…hold…release, now relax your ankle muscle…take a breath…hold 🙄🙄 they take up so much time doing those bs things-not to knock them, but if ppl were looking for a “relaxation talk down” they seek that, but most who seek out “bedtime stories” or “sleep stories” want JUST THAT & aren’t interested in those exercises, ya know???) So I like that you are diff.
You are a treasure & everybody should make sure they LIKE your vids to promote you more. And your stories are so unique! I understand that you gather Inspa from fantasy books/movies, but ur stories have so much little details (like “you stop to eat some fruit & berries”)…like I can actually PICTURE that in my head-the more detail, the better. You go girl! I wish I could like this vid 10 times!!!
If you ever run out of ideas, you should def ask the viewers to leave comments-I bet people who listen would be more than happy to give you a fun plot.
Ooh another thing I saw another channel do was she said “if you have a short story that you’ve written & think viewers would enjoy hearing it as they fall asleep, send your submissions to my email, u can find it in the description” I thought that was really cool. A lot of people out there write for fun, so that might be a unique way to get some good scripts or ideas to read aloud.
Greta job. Keep up the AMAZING work!

I am so happy to have recently discovered your chanel. I especially love this Forest Gaurdian story. I live in the far north of Queensland, Australia, and have access to some beautiful areas of old rainforest. One particular tree near where I live has been highlighted as a "must see" for our tourists. It is a 500 year old Strangler Fig, which started life as a seed, deposited probably by a bird, high in the canopy of another tree. The seed germinated, and commenced wrapping a complex web of roots around its host, as they grew down into the ground. Over many years the host tree was strangled, before completely decaying, thus leaving the centre of the now fully developed Strangler Fig quite hollow. Your description of the tree home of the Forest Guardian sounds so much like that 500 year old fig tree! Thank you for all the work that you put into your beautiful presentations. 💕💕

I agree,it's hard to find adult bed time stories where the storyteller has such an amazing calming voice.i NEVER make it through half of stories without falling asleep.

I’d love to hear some stories about Ancient civilizations-real or fake-Norse Mythology, Greek Mythology, Atlantis, Lemuria, Ancient China or Japan, Egypt, Sumerian…or if u just made up your own ancient civilization & took aspects from all. Or if you did “periodic” stories (Victorian London,
I’d ESPECIALLY LOVE to hear a story about when Ancient Giants roamed the Earth. Or even if you took stories from History & put your own unique twist on it…like maybe the settlers of Jamestown disappeared b/c they found a secret path into a Utopian “Inner Earth” or maybe the beautiful stone structure in Petra was once an ancient stone city that was sealed off? Or maybe the Great Pyramid was once a natural power plant that supplied free electricity & at one point was connected to all the other ancient pyramids around the world & the story is from the POV of a person who accompanies an ancient being from Atlantis who’s job is to visit all these pyramids (Mexico, Bermuda, Ohio River Valley, one in Canada, Atlantis, one in Europe, Egypt, China, Africa, India, Siberia, and the biggest ones are at the North & South poles)…that would be so interesting.
Not trying to tell u what to do, just trying to give some ideas in case you ever need any Inspa for your beautiful soothing stories 😊
