In this clip, Chris Long went into detail about the lead-up to Juice WRLD’s passing and cleared up some of the misconceptions that have floated around about the ordeal. Long explained how uneasy he was on the plane ride to Chicago and what the mindset was of everyone on board the private jet when they got word that the police were waiting on them to land to check the plane for drugs and weapons. As Long explained, Juice WRLD’s overdose came at a sudden moment during the police search and he expressed how coldhearted the authorities were about Juice’s passing.

That almost made me cry. Chris sounds like the most genuine and nice person ever, and like he really cared about Juice. He watched him die, traumatizing himself in the process, just to comfort him in any way possible

this is literally the saddest interview ever. you can tell how much chris loved juice. he really lost a good friend
for real, also the opportunity of a lifetime to be a photographer and friend with arguably the biggest superstar in his time and to see your own dreams coming true as a photographer/videographer etc. He was taking private jets around the world and enjoying the success of Juice as most people in his camp. Juice WRLD would always brag about money while also saying he didn't gaf about money. Clearly he shared so much of what he had with the people near him for better or for worse. I just look back at Juice's career and how many signs there were both observationally and also from Juice's own lyrics and words. I can't shake the feeling that Juice had a death wish. I'll never know. Years later and I still think about Juice every day and I'm a grown man. I don't exactly know how to put into words what it was that made me grow so attached to Juice and his music. I just know that in my life of all the artists I've seen come and go that Juice was undeniably talented to put it mildly.

I was a big opiate and Benzo user. I needed Heroin, Xanax, and Percocet’s everyday, that life is honestly hell. I’m glad that I’m two and a half years clean off that. It’s very challenging to get clean but, I’m glad I was able to get through it. Wouldn’t wish addiction on my worse enemy.

Chris is a very good friend. Juice world is a freaking legend. He left us a little too soon. I am very heartbroken and I am crying because a lot of us connected with him through his music. When he speaks on depression and anxiety it hits ten times harder because we all felt what he was going through.
RIP Juice. A lot of us have addictive personalities, myself included. It’s tough to put down what makes you feel or not feel.

Absolutely! I just had a withdrawal seizure couple days ago. I just withdrew from opiates/amphetamines/benzos at the same time. Can’t stop benzos cold turkey, it can cause seizures and death. So now only on the klonopin, down to about .5-.75mg today. Juices seizure implies a codeine overdose if anything. Codeine can cause seizures over 400mg, especially with all that antihistamine (promethazine). Wouldn’t be the oxycodone. Confused? Seems off yeah? Anyways, we can always quit, 3-7 days of hell for a lifetime of freedom. It’s worth it I promise.

i seized in my boys basement and was kickin him in the back while he was sleepin. i was 3 days sober at that point. i couldnt imagine how terrifying that was. he always says he thought i was dead 100%.

His life is recording. He relives more than most .
You can tell it is. He’s obviously dealing with heavy previous drug use and ptsd. The way he keeps repeating certain phrases and says “you know what I mean” every sentence, heavy drug use has effected his brain

I went from casual user/alcoholic to barely functioning addict. Had to take more and more to feel it, getting to the point where no matter how much I took I felt nothing. It got to the point where it’s either I’m dead or in jail. I lied to myself for years but i’m almost 3 weeks clean today. Juice’s songs helped me so much with my addictions and they’re still helping me. I wish Juice could have beat his demons.🕊

I dropped alcohol after drinking it like soda for weeks. I was tired of waking up depressed, only another drink would stop it so I cut it off immediately. I use music as an outlet, and blaze up occasionally and that's enough for me

My 16 year old son was a huge fan on Juice before he passed he took it really hard but I had to have that talk with him and let him understand that young man had some things going with him that we may have never known about... Rest in peace

This shit is beyond heart breaking. Love Juice and he’s definitely a big part of me and I just have no words after this. Chris is a real one but he taught us to keep what we don’t want them to know about on persons. They go after the luggage. And if It is in the luggage, make sure you disguise It perfectly that a dog cannot detect It. Stupid as fuck he went out like that but It would have been any day at the pace he was going and I hate to say It. Hope he’s in a better place away from the demons that were chasing him here. RIP

It sucks that he had the mindset he had. He inspired and saved who knows how many young adults and teenagers and couldn’t see how loved he was. I feel like he had a mindset of if I die young I will be a legend. He could have did whatever he wanted to but had those demons that don’t take their foot off your neck. Even if he went to rehab he said he didn’t want to stop. So rehab wouldn’t have done any good. 99.9 percent of this current world population will be forgotten after they die (except a few family members, but even 100 years after that your family forgets.) but Juice will live on generation after generation. Lost my girl to fent. We loved juice wrld, one of our songs was sometimes. We would sing our hearts out to it. This really hit home when he was talking about losing juice. It's similar to me losing my girl thankfully I didn't see it happen but we still spent her last night together 💜 I miss you baby fly high and hang out with juice for me

I’m very late seeing this , but this was so heart breaking to watch like I almost cried ….just so tragic to go thru & witness someone going thru it, sounds very scary‼️‼️😭😭I’m so sorry this happen to you juice wrld & that he was dealing with a serious drug addiction….I am glad he had ppl around him who truly loved & cared for him, that wanted the best for him, cuz that’s very rare to have nowadays fr…..I would never wanna see something that tragic & traumatic, I feel like I’d be scarred for life and wouldn be able to get the images out my head….I’m so sorry for his gf & friends who saw everything that happen to him💔💔💔…..I’m so so sorry for juice wrld loved ones loss, sending my deepest condolences & sympathy to/God bless his family , loved ones , Gf, friends & all his supporters, stay strong & God will see u thru, God bless everyone & stay safe 🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️❤️

I knew juice before he was famous, i know that shock factor everyone talks about wherte they hear him for the first time and are blown away. We werent close but to me he was already a hero in my eyes. My bestfriend also died the same way 6 months before juice did of the same thing. its funny because they were both so talented in music and we both loved juice and they both had the saame b day. I feel lost without them both. my heart hurts i feel very alone loosing them i almost took my own life but im still here pushing. RIP juice. Chris your amazing. you and juice were just like me and my best friend. he called me his personal camera man and I captured EVERYthing on video. Hopfully i can share them one day. RIP seth and jarad

Chris seemed like he was a really good friend to Juice all the way til the end, from what he’s saying, sounds like Juice just unfortunately overdid it that day and the stress of the police search probably triggered the seizure. Sad situation, Juice seemed like a cool dude. RIP
