I'm fairly sure that the new Ultimate Green Goblin is going to be Harry Osborn, not Norman. Norman and Emily Osborn were both listed as casualties of the same event that led to the apparent death of Aunt May- the events of what happened there are covered in the recent one shot Ultimate Universe #1. Also we got several full preview images of pages from USM #1 last week when the trailer dropped and it definitely seems to suggest that Peter is working at the Daily Bugle as a reporter. Also we see Ultimate Betty Brant there at the workplace too!
I watched a read through of “The Ultimates” #1. Basically the villains (it’s revealed who but I wanna hide some spoilers 😁 But it’s not Kingpin) hacked a satellite and sent a laser from space that destroyed Stark tower. And yes, impacted individuals included May Parker, Norman Osborn, and Emily Osborn. But I can’t remember if these were confirmed casualties or if these were people in the area unaccounted for.

Is it possible Norman is secretly alive? Certainly. But I would wager at this point that it's more likely this new Green Goblin is going to be Harry.

I am so happy this new ultimate Spider-Man series is giving us everything we ever wanted especially with Peter parker and Mary jane being married they have both there kids Mayday parker the future spider-girl and there son richard parker who yes I know isn't benjy parker but damn it I got used to calling him benjy so i am going to keep calling the boy benjy Richard parker because that was the name i was used to at least in my opinion. Now with all that said though i am curious on if that green goblin is really Norman osborn because technically speaking we did see Osborn grave within that trailer, so I am actually curious if its really Norman Osborn or his son harry Osborn. Because if it's harry Osborn as green goblin trying to avenge his father after his death then I think that could be a very interesting story to see both Peter and Harry deal with there alter egos of being a hero the other destined to be a villian at least in my opinion. Now do I think that's going to happen I have no idea but I am super excited to see what happens within this amazing series and until then I am going to try to keep my speculations in check, but in all seriousness though this series looks it, its truly going to be my most anticipated series of 2024 and I cannot wait to cover this amazing series and see my boy Peter Parker Spider-Man finally get a win and seeing him being married to his wife Mary jane and having his two kids Mayday parker and Richard being a great family is going to be really awesome especially adding in the Spider-Man stuff on top of it is going to be super awesome and amazing. :)

It's a very novel take on the mythos. Goblin as a hero reminds me of the spiderman unlimited cartoon. On parker's career I'd imagine jms route would be best. I'm glad people are already talking about the possibility of series lasting well over a year. I distanced myself from the franchise because of superior spider-man but at least the AU's sometimes are pretty good.
The one thing that Spiderman fans loved more than just Peter and MJ remaining married as ever is to see them simp over the hot milf redhead herself so why bother? Because most us die hard Spidey fans are simping over here to how she's drawn by Marco Chechetto in the series and I know damn well that Hasbro might eventually give us that interpretation of Mary jane Watson figure from earth 6160 soon I hoped. 😊
Well I do want to be part of the Ultimate as his 616 counterpart used to be an Avenger until Zeb Wells ruined all that for the sake of the status quo as to why he should have been in Jason Arron’s Avengers run. I guess that it could be the Kingpin but I thought it would be like PS4 where he was the first boss fight in the game and I like the Green goblin design here it’s what all the movie version should have looked like especially Amazing Spider-Man 2 but as I said before that the Green Goblin doesn’t deserve to be a hero as not only for Gwen’s death but that both Norman and Harry manipulate,pull strings, anything to get what they want. Now we're finally gonna see Ultimate Peter having a full fledge brawl against Kingpin. Don't get me wrong, but teen Ultimate Peter from the original Ultimate Spider-Man run never had a full fledge brawl against Fisk. As far as i know, he usually just piss him off or dodges Fisk's attacks and tried to get away from him. Now, we're definitely getting adult Ultimate Peter having a full fledge brawl against the Kingpin. Also, i think this Green Goblin's design seems to have inspiration from Willem Dafoe's (upper part pf the mask and the overall design of the armor) and James Franco/Harry's (the lower part of the mask is just a plain mask with no mouth or teeth).

I think Norman actually died, and Harry is wanting to be a heroic Goblin and partner to Spidey, to see justice for the death of his parents.
