The irony is I, I would love to see Bratton try to do a Ted talk again (after he gave it the bird) and see how clearly he could deliver this lecture to an audience which isn't up to date on design theory, continental philosophy, and post-structuralism. Does he think some version of these insights, these 'copernican traumas,' are vital for the average person to grasp? If so, how would you communicate that? Looking forward to more collaboration between Metahaven and Bratton. That seems like the closest thing to a PSA on the present moment that we've got.
