When I first went to the cathedral I was absolutely floored. It's such an impressive set piece and I love the fact it truly is 'sanctuary,' and has an entire little settlement inside it. Like I remember being so surprised when the doors first opened and there wasn't a loading screen.
@@The_Swedish_Knight This was my main gripe when exploring Fallout London. All these great and interesting large places, then there's like 2 quests at most.
@Anzei_Kazumi yeah. I kinda wish other modders would be able to make their own modded quest inside fallout london. Playing fallout london feels like a game and not a mod.
Love how Mike gets all flustered and has no idea what Zach's pointing at him for right up until he says 'soda' then he snaps back "I can quit whenever I want!" XD
It was only recently replaced by the Glock 17 and 19. It was really well liked, too. A while ago, I sold a Springfield SA-35 to an old British guy who just wanted something like his old sidearm
Probably just wanted something different and they could’ve just not thought of it or since the whole alternative history part maybe the uk in fo never adopted it
@Sweetheart_san It was first adopted in the 1930s and was the single most popular military pistol in the world until fairly recently. Even most of the nations that didn't adopt it copied it, and it was beloved by everyone who used it. The argument for the best semi auto full size handgun was between the 1911 and the Hi Power, at least until the Beretta 92 and Glock 17 came along and ruined John Browning's posthumous monopoly on the firearms market. In short, Fallout didn't deviate significantly from the real world until after WW2, but the Hi Power was already in British service by that point, and very well liked by the men who used it, mostly paratroopers at that point. It was also such a successful gun that unless Britain developed a domestic handgun that was even better, which is a high bar to clear for post war Britain, and which doesn't match up with anything else seen in Fallout London, there would be no reason not to adopt it
@@filmandfirearms thanks for the history I’m guessing It was probably just for aesthetic reasons then just so it feels different or they didn’t think of it
Holo nasties is a reference to the infamous "video nasties" of the 1970s and 80s. Exploitation films, that sort of thing, anything that made obscenity campaigners mad.
00:44 Reminds me of how after the channel tunnel was built the boring machines were just made to dig themselves into the ground, the British ones anyway, the French did something girly and sentimental
The boys were in top form for this episode. Zach and Mike should do a vlog where they visit the cathedral in DC if they've never been to one, by the way
4:39 That would be either the 6th, played by Colin Baker and often hated for that Doctor to be a big dick, or the 13th, played by Jodie Whittaker and is hated due to Chris Chibnall's terrible writing of the episodes during her tenure. I'm a Doctor Who nerd, yes, shut up.
@qinugimachi87 I wouldn't say that Ncuti is less popular than Jodie. He's toured around for a bit and the campaign co funded by Disney seems to be working quite well, even if the series isn't that good. And besides, he's still got plenty of time to shine.
I like the lore, but I stay away from the TTRPG aspect for the same reason I stayed away from WOW; I know I'd get sucked into spending _way_ too much time and money on it.
I actually like building some of the Warhammer sets. Some of their tanks and buggies and stuff look awesome. Plus whatever leftover parts I have I used for doing Gaslands builds. Great use of leftover scrap parts
Actually, it's perfectly normal for a bar in an Anglican cathedral. Historically, during the late medieval period, local priests and bishops would practice making their own brews. Bishops were expected to provide a certain amount of alcohol to their congregants and priests at certain festivals, or just out of charity. A lot of the oldest alcohol brands in the world today started out as local brews maintained by priests or monks, like with Chartreuse.
31:42 Again Zach difficulty in space marine, a little different until your level 5 and you put your perks in the right spot for you, the game is going to be really hard on anything that isn’t easy that’s how it was designed no shame for playing on easy mode.
It's good that it is. Like yeah you've got the genes of a demigod. But you're fighting the fucking tyranids. EVERYONE is gonna get their shit rocked by the nids
I know I’m being a little nitpicky but… shouldn’t the Bishop wear a Anglican outfit instead of that Catholic hat on his head? Not saying Catholics don’t exist in Britain but…
Did a bit of research apperantly that isnt too far of the anglican church clothes, there are bishops in the anglicsn church who also use those types of clothes
Zach, a married man, doesn't know what one might do on a bed save for sleep, read, and build Lego sets. I want to put a joke here, but I feel it'd be superfluous.

My favorite Doctor is the tenth, because he ended up marrying the woman who played his Doctor's "daughter" (actually just a female clone), and who is ACTUALLY the IRL daughter of Peter Davison, a PREVIOUS DOCTOR. David Tennant is also just a supremely fantastic actor.

Welcome to London, where the Thams'll cook you faster than a box of Blamco Mac n' cheese, and the streets are filled with super foxes.
I remember falling into the Thames and getting hit with 250 rads/sec. And then it happened in the game too!
