My Buddy, Frank Sinatra

A twist of fate brought Ralph into my life. He knew and admired my grandmother when they were both just teenagers.They grew up, married other people, had families and children, and years later after both of their spouses had passed away, they made their way back to each other and found love again.
He was honorable and accomplished, intelligent and opinionated, and he served his country in a myriad of ways. He was a true southern gentleman and a man of great integrity. The finest man I have ever known.
This Frank Sinatra recording from 1939 with the Harry James Orchestra is for my buddy, Ralph Todd, on the anniversary of his birth 104 years ago today.
