- It's Monday and time for some coffee and chat about candles! Today's candle is Grilled Corn On The Cob from HomeWorx. We'll also take a quick look at Goose Creek, Kringle and Yankee Candle. I have a small Bath & Body Works haul and some pictures from my trip to Tennessee.

Thank you for sharing some of your vacation pictures. The black bear was adorable. The picture in the Smokey Mountain Park with the stream was gorgeous! I've heard Dollywood is a fun place to visit. I'm glad you had a good time. The Oklahoma clip makes me laugh every time I see it.

I really enjoyed my time in Tennessee. I'd like to go back this fall. The river was so peaceful. I could have sat there all day and just listened to it. Dollywood was very nice to visit also. The food was very good and the rides were fun!😊

I love that you manifested seeing a black bear!! 🥹🙏🏻🫂💗💫🦋 one of my fave parts of dollywood is all the butterflies. I bet you saw lots of fire flies too. They're all over our yard every evening since moving to a more wooded area in the same town and it's such a perfect place for me to heal its one of the biggest reasons I wanted to move to Tennessee from California (and of course cost of living, safety, quality of life, like minded good people all that jazz lol) I've been so withdrawn the past few months but watching your videos again always warms my heart. I say all winter I will enjoy every second of spring and summer and then places start teasing out fall and Halloween stuff... and I'm like a moth to light its terrible lol.
Hi Sarah!😀👋 Seeing the Black Bear was a highlight for me. I loved going to Dollywood! The weather was perfect and the food was really good. Im thinking of going back this fall. Dolly sure loves her butterflies, they were everywhere.😊🦋
Can you believe Halloween will be out in stores in like 5 or 6 weeks. Crazy how fast the year goes!

Love the Dollywood duck as it does look like the SAS duck. So cute that black bear is! Great you were able to record it. I’d like to go to Dollywood one day. I have watched many videos about it.

Fortunately, the cracked candle can be replaced. My store had tons of Whipped Coconut Milkshake.

Yayyy-glad you vacationed in East Tn!!! I live in Middle TN. Dollywood, Gatlinburg and the Great Smokey Mountain National Park are amazing. So special that you saw a Black Bear! And thanks for all of the updates. Received my 2nd haul today from the recent Flash Sale.
I had such a nice time. We're thinking of going back this fall. Seeing the black bear was a highlight for me. I'm still waiting on my flash sale order.😂

I love the smokies. One of the times we went, there was a bear in the resort, after telling the security about it, the guy just went there and literally ran the bear away just by yelling at it. Lately we’ve stayed in cabins because it is a lot more comfortable. I live about 2 hours from Gatlinburg, and it is definitely my favorite vacation spot.
We had so much fun and plan on going back this fall. I think I'll look into staying in a cabin. That sounds so peaceful to me. Seeing the bear was a highlight for me.😊

The Whipped Coconut Milkshake I think has been judged a little to harshly.😂 I really enjoy it. Love the sas duck!! We have a bunch of eagles that nest along lake Erie here. They are huge birds!😮

Ah thanks for the roomspray sale reminder! My store had restocked thosw summer ones so i hope to get some more beachfront blanket too! Love the dollywood duck! You need that in the background for sas seasons! 😊 also we get black bears wandering through our backyard and we live hust a couple blocks from the town section so it's crazy how they just randomly show up and (knock on wood) we've been inside every time we see them but they are cute from afar! 😮
My store still had Vacation Vibes but I passed. I have like 6 of them now. Definitely want to stock up on Beach Blanket. That is so crazy you have bears walking through your backyard!😮 We were in the car when it walked out of the woods. I was like holy crap!!! There's a bear!😂

I also have the grilled corn candle. I like it. Enjoyed your vacation pics. I have been to Gatlinberg one time at Christmas. They decorate the whole town. It was beautiful. Highly recommend taking a trip there at Christmas time.

It was so much fun and the scenery is gorgeous. I plan on going back this fall around the end of Sept or early Oct. It's been years since I've had any kind of vacation. Definitely want to do that more often.😊

I already burned cypress and orange blossom. They're beautiful. I'm such a fan of the grey essential line. I don't think it got the attention it deserved and will be sad if the line dosent return😢
I had a wonderful time! It's good to be back home too.😊 I loved Dollywood. They had her tour bus at the park and you could walk through it. So cool to see that. The black bear was a highlight for me. I'm going to hit my store up tomorrow and see if there are any orange blossom candles left. That candle collection is so nice. Definitely didn't get the attention it deserved.

My husband is pretty easygoing as far as what I burn, but he doesn't like savory. So I don't get them anymore. I am on a no buy until the next drop! Lol. Oklahoma! I love 9 to 5! Epic. That duck is everything. Have a wonderful week ❌️ ⭕️
The Grilled Corn On The Cob is not a bad scent, but it's not something I'd burn often. So I totally get not buying the savory candles. Love 9 to 5! So hilarious! Have a great week Lisa.😊

Whipped Coconut Milkshake has been good for me also. Glad I purchased a backup. On the T-shirt, it says, "I went outside once, the graphics weren't so good."😂
I normally don’t purchase single wicks either, but lemongrass, amber, and orange blossom were strong. Such lovely scents. One of the stores near me had plenty left, so I stocked up. I’m glad I didn’t sleep on those.
I was surprised how strong lemgrass was. I didn't buy orange blossom because it smelled light to me, but now that I know it was strong as well, I'll go pick up a few tomorrow.😀
I've loved the vanilla one in that line its probably one of my all time faves from bbw that and vanilla snowflakes which didn't return last Christmas 😭 and of course lavendar marshmallow and pink lavendar and espresso. I bet they're out of the vanilla single wicks. I'll have to check now.
@@manifestwthedomesticgoddess good to know. Vanilla scents tend to be weaker, so I passed on that one. If it’s anything like vanilla snowflake, I’ll need to pick up a few if my stores have any left because I LOVE that scent.
@@ericandcompanytoo Strengthwise, I’d say lemongrass 9/10, amber 7.5, orange blossom 6.5. I love orange blossom notes though, and it’s perfect for my office.
@@goldencasa4335I have to check out Orange Blossom tomorrow at the store, since I have to exchange a cracked candle anyway.😂 I totally forgot Vanilla Snowflakes wasn't out this past year! I love that one.😊
I live in TN like I've told u before. I live about 3 and a half to four hours away from Gatlinburg. I went in November last year and stayed 5 days. We stayed in the hotel beside the ripleys aquarium so we was right on the strip and could just walk it for hours and have fun without paying to park or have to find a spot. We also was right across the road from Anakeesta which is a chair lift that takes u to the top of a mountain and there is shops and coasters and all kinds of fun stuff to do. It was a blast for sure! It wasn't too cold when we went either which was nice. All the christmas lights is so fun to see. We want to go to dollywood when we go back this year. I haven't been in years. We was driving from pigeon forge into gatlinburg and on that scenic route there was ppl parked all along the road taking pics of a tiny black bear up in a tree! It was so cute!
Hey Ceira!😀👋 When you went to Gatlinburg in November was it crazy busy then too? It was so busy last week. The street was practically a parking lot it was so jammed with cars and people. We're planning on going back this fall to Dollywood for the Halloween Nights. Looks like it should be a lot of fun!🎃 I did get to ride one of those mountain coasters in Pigeon Forge. We did a lot of stuff in Pigeon Forge because it seemed to not be as congested as Gatlinburg.
@@ericandcompanytoo it was busy but nothing too crazy. Bc it wasn't quite Christmas time yet and the lights was just being put out. It wasn't terrible. I've seen it a lot worse lol and didn't seem to have to wait forever to ride rides or anything. And in early November it's usually still plenty warm enough to not freeze to death lol it's perfect.

Hey Naz!😀👋 The Grilled Corn candle is definitely different. It's not a bad fragrance, but not something I would burn all the time either. I love the movie 9 to 5. When I saw the desk at Dollywood, I had to get a picture.😂 Seeing the bear was a highlight for me. We were in the car when it walked out of the woods. It was only maybe 15 feet from us. I have had a few dogs and cats, but its so hard when they have to be put down that I haven't gotten another one since. Maybe some day again.😊

Eric, you were in my neck of the woods in Tennessee. I'm about 30 minutes from Gatlinburg/ Dollywood. So beautiful and even more so in the fall / Christmas time. Glad you enjoyed your time here. Now you know where I am. Let me know when you burn Sweet Orange and Agave candle.❤
Tennessee is gorgeous! I plan on going back this fall! I still have to give Sweet Orange and Agave a try. Hopefully this weekend. I just finished up Snowy Peachberry. Even though it's a Christmas candle it sure smells summery to me.😊

Good question on the candle prices. If it was me, I would buy one just in case the price doesn't go lower. I'm thinking if they do, it will be some sort of online flash sale where you take an additional 20% off or something like that. Some of the sas products will get pulled off the floor next week to make room for the Summer 3 Floorset and Fall Preview. The product that gets pulled usually comes back out on the floor for Candle Day, Body Care Day, or Winter SAS.

Looked like you had so much fun on your mini trip! I just knew your surprise was going to be an adorable black bear 🐻 since they are famous for having them! When I picked up my BOPIS order last Friday they had all the single wicks 75% off and since I still had my $10 off $40 coupon I picked up several plus another $10.95 in order to use it so that ended up being a great deal. I think they actually dropped the price a few days ago but they don’t sell too fast. My flash sale online order is supposed to be here tomorrow. 🤞🤞🤞they show up in one piece!
I had so much fun on the trip. Way too short. The black bear was a highlight for me. I wasn't sure when the single wicks went 75% off. I didn't notice them during week at the store in Tennessee, but it was so busy I just left the store within a minute or two. FedEx lost my flash sale order. So who knows if or when it will arrive. Or in what condition. Its so hot this week that if the box is sitting on some hot truck the candles will be all melted. Hopefully yours arrives in one piece.😊🤞

Mine left Arizona then sat in Salt Lake City for 3 full days before finally departing so I have no idea if it was hot there. It was so cold here ugh was only 49 Saturday afternoon 🥶 and super windy 🌬️ with thunder.

Fortunately I didn't loose power yesterday. I would have no problem lighting the entire house up with candles.😂 I think it's supposed to be hot all week. I try not to run the air conditioner to much, but this week might be the exception.🥵

It’s 96 here. 🥵I’m comfortable in the air conditioning. 🥶 I’m a winter kinda guy. A Black Bear. Hm. Scary. I’ve seen videos of people feeding Bears. Doesn’t end well. Fortunately, we were in the car when the bear appeared. I'm sure if I was outside the car it would have been scary. Yeah, I definitely don't want to be close to one. They're cute, but still a wild animal.🐻
