If you can't afford a dentist or don't have a comprehensive dental plan, call your local university. Even your community College can offer discounted prices for things like dental cleaning and haircuts.
That’s such great advice! Local colleges and universities are an awesome resource for affordable services like dental care and even haircuts. Thanks for sharing this tip!
I'm 74 yrs and have always used salt and a little oil to scrub my cast iron pans.....if out camping , use sand! Grandma used to say, "It's not supposed to taste good, it's just supposed to work"!😊❤
Also use a rubber band or two on the handle of your hand held shower it helps with a secure grip on the handle. They are so slippery when wet and soapy
Thank you for the reminder l. I have a cat urine issue that reeks. Ive been trying a few natural treatments but coffee grounds might just do the trick🤞
A handful of Epsom Salts in a clean sock lightly dampened and applied to insect stings also draws out the sting and neutralises it. It is such a good remedy. Warm salty water for sore throats is what the old time remedy is, but, consider: Do you put hot water on a burn, or do you use cold water? I was told to try cold salty water instead for a sore throat. It definitely helps and is easier on an already burning throat.
I’m 86 & I knew about most of this but not about coffee ☕️ or tea 🫖 for blueberry 🫐 plants! I had a huge one in our last house 🏡! It was huge and I didn’t have to do anything! Just rain 🌧️ which we have lots in the Pacific Northwest!
That’s amazing! Sounds like you had the perfect setup for that blueberry bush 🍇✨. And yes, coffee and tea can be great for plants like blueberries-they love the acidity! Nature really knows how to take care of itself, especially in a place as lush as the Pacific Northwest
As you talked about acid loving plants, You forgot roses and tomatoes....I save my goffee grounds for these plant and get better blooms and larfwe tomato plants with a plethera of tomatoes😋
