No sponsors, no food, no money , and he arrived in japan after 3 days of travel, reaching event in last minutes and securing the title is just miracle.
Pakistan's arrival at the pro Tekken scene is the most real-life Anime story I have ever seen. The best part is, that the story keeps progressing in an insanely good way.
Feels like just yesterday arslan ash won evo 2019 cementing himself as the best Tekken player and putting the "evo japan was just a fluke" comments to grave. And Now he is a 5 time evo champion. As a Pakistani this is nostalgic
If you’d have asked me 10-15 years ago, which country do you think is going to make an explosive entry into esports and shake up the top rankings in that esport? Never in a million years would I have called Pakistan as the one to do it. Don’t forget, even though he’s their “Golden child”, it’s not just Arslan Ash. He just happens to be the one who has the opportunity to travel and compete the most. There’s many others from Pakistan who are at or near his level as well, and who would be just as likely to win any given Tekken tourney if given the opportunity. I wish stuff like this, Pakistan coming in and dominating the Tekken scene, happened more often. It was the same in the UFC with Khabib. Guy comes out of nowhere, from a place most people couldn’t point to on a map, and just dominates the competition. It’s just awesome to see.
What's even better is Arslan helped inspire his fellow countrymen to be push on Tekken in international tournaments and now we see guys like Atif doing that insane loser's final performance last EVO 2k24
Well done Thescore esports. Also well done Dmitri. For once, a detailed video about an FGC game, especially Tekken. I hope we can see more detailed videos on esports games that aren't about League of Legends or Counterstrike.
Arslan is the best TEKKEN player of all time. I am glad that we got to witness such an inspiring E-sports player in our generation. Because of Arslan Ash, we got to see talent like Atif, Dawood, Heera, Numan, Bilal, Hammad, The JON and many more amazing players that no one would've known if Arslan didn't win those first EVOs of his career. Thank You Arslan Ash ❤❤❤❤❤
To say that is just being ignorant of Tekken's (and Knee's) history. Arslan may be at the top of the game now, but to say he's the best ever is debatable at best. Knee will always have a debatable claim to that spot.
@@CGoody564 It was debatable, but only before Arslan didn't win in T8. I know it's hard to accept the truth for you now. But if you think about it with a clear mind, then you know who is the GOAT. Knee was the GOAT until Arslan won his 4th EVO. Right now, there's no debate about who is the GOAT of TEKKEN.

This is such a great moment to look back on. Watching this live was unreal, it was the first time my brothers and I had ever seen a Pakistani like us reach this level of success in the FGC and it was awe inspiring. Even my mom who basically knows nothing past Pac-Man when it come to video games, was cheering and shouting with excitement. I love watching FGC content like this, great video guys
T8 has been out for a little over 6 months, 7 was out for a decade. Knee is a master of knowledge, there's little knowledge about T8 yet. It was the exact same with 7. Knee will likely rise beyond everyone else once again, just like he did in Tekken 7 before.
There's something so poetic and beautiful in Infinite Azure's simplicity. The background music, the stage basically being nothing at all, the background visuals looming in and out of focus in the distance...
Arslan Ash is Goku! He's the GOAT of Tekken, his story has everything, struggle through injustice like Muhammad Ali, amazing victories against incredible competition, and then absolute dominance. Every great sport needs a great icon. Boxing has Muhammad Ali, Basketball has Michael Jordan, and Tekken has Arslan Ash, the man a century from now people will mention.
I really miss this sort of cold calculated match pacing. All Tekken 8 meta is about is whose the best rush down. Tekken 7 each move felt like it took the match into a different direction. One whiff side step launch or pokes. The movement based t7 meta was so much superior to the current rush down no consequence heat mash if you get in trouble meta T8 is dealing with. The matches are blink and miss in T8
A large part of why Tekken 8 plays like the way it does is because of the meta of Tekken 7. It's unfortunate that both top 2 players were defensive masters and made the game look too passive to the decision makers in Bamco
There's nothing entertaining about Arlan's reliance on infinite azure. Unless you're specifically an Arslan fan, this is not entertaining. It's predictable and underwhelming. And you know it's true since there's no more infinite stages AND you HAVE to change the stage after every match.
@@yomomma1316maybe for people like you who know nothing about tekken. To anybody that is a veteran of the game. This is the best kind of tekken. One could even argue this is the purest form of tekken there is. Just fundamentals to truly see who is the better TEKKEN player.

And again, you can't tell me I'm wrong because the rules quite literally changed BECAUSE of the way he plays.
Missed the part where the crowd was on Knee's side through and through, even the commentary was biased and Arsalan the Lone Wolf didn't only win against his opponent in the ring but silenced the doubtful crowd into submission. LEGEND for a reason.
