Thank you. I have just finished to swap my daughter's redmi 9 screen following your instructions. I have replaced the battery too because after 4 years removing the old one without damaging it seems to hard to me, and 4 years is a good period of time for changing it.
Thank you very much for this! Just finished swapping my son's redmi 9's screen, I just had a little trouble putting the motherboard back in. It seems like you gotta put the left side first, either way it won't fit right. Another note: I managed to get the battery out by just streching the tape behind it, yout got to pull it upwards, it comes all off pretty smooth, no alcohol needed. Thanks again :)
Thanks for the video, i was lucky to remove the batterystripes , we have the same system for pictureframes, so it helps to pull flat and slowly with time. When thebattery lifts a bit, put something under and after the stripe pulls longer and longer..at least out
My son threw his phone. When i inspect the damage its the ribbon from lcd and ribbon from the battery. Can i change ribbon in lcd or do i have to change the whole screen.

I tried to remove the battery with a metal crowbar, it was stuck too much, the edge of the battery bent a bit. It is dangerous?
termo paste is oblygatory?
i find if it has it on there from the factory cant hurt to make the new part the same

if the ribbon cable is damaged, a whole screen would need to be swapped
