We played tiger of san pedro in high school in 1996 at hale center high school. Also at Wayland Baptist university In 1998. We killed it in high school. At Wayland they sucked it up. We played college level music n high school on the regular. We finished my Jr year ranked the #5 band n texas. They took the top 4 to state but we were so close

I mean it’s the same…..Nsu old band director was at jsu around this time. Also, he’s an alumni there but just worked at nsu. That’s part of the reason JSU, and NSU have some similar arrangements. JSU just played this more jazzier and NSU is a more militaristic style of play. I like both because they are the same but different.
