We still have ours my grandad and I made from a 44gallon drum cut in half and driven by an old Ringer washing machine motor. Classed as a spit in our days and now called Rotis're. Holds up to 200Ib of meat from, whole venison, Pigs and Sheep. The rods my brother made from Stainless steel. Spits a awesome if catering for big whanau celebrations.
Happy new years Mike I hope you had a great Christmas also 😁 Such a delicious looking dinner you get me so jealous hahaha Can't wait to see some more good kai video's this year.

Hey Mike, You should go to Papamoa beach to get some Tua Tua...there are plenty and they are fat as now...take a bottle for sea water to soak them and let them spit their sand. Love ya vidz and Rubba... keep it up man🙏

I traveled to the Middle East and Azerbaijan… The lamb, goat or chicken cooked on a vertical broiler over a flame or coals.. Very much the same as the rotisserie but the flavours are off the cuff… I learned how to cook their breads too.. I love travel abroad.. This Maori is going to be lost in North Africa in May 2024 is my next desty😂 The Sahara.. Can’t wait to show them your content, and other Maori kai gatherers I follow.. I look forward to trying their lalebi, brik, chakchouka, and fire smoked fish, seafood…Mediterranean… Tunisia 🇹🇳 Even my Pakistani mates and Iraqi friends spoil me with their kai… So lucky to have a diverse of buddies and learn their cultures and food…

Chuck a metal binder clip on the rim of your weber and it holds the rotisserie centre skewer perfect
Good idea 👍
First thing i was thinking can you adjust the height for a slow roast i like mine tender/softer than the Wahs defence
