Wait! What happened to the big roundabout at the top of the high street that brought you to the Civic Centre on the left??
I was born near Uxbridge High Street in the 60's, we grew up in Uxbridge and Hillingdon. (After a final move to Ealing left London 30 years ago.)
Recognise Vine Street and Randall's is still there. What about the Old Market House ? I see the library is still in the same place-I remember it and also remember what it was before when I was being pushed around it, when it was a "MacFisheries" supermarket.
We often went to films at the old Regal cinema which eventually became a nightclub, is that still there?
Have seen the Chimes once on a visit, the Pavilions definitely looks better, my first job in the 80's was in one of the shops there and it was like working in a freezing wind tunnel! Uxbridge looks quite prosperous.

i am glad you enjoyed it, not sure about Old Market House, the Regal cinema is still there it's now called ATIK nightclub you can see it on google maps
