I lived it! This is the song that sparked my interest in music in my youth. I love this song! I'm here in 2024 listening to the music I heard when I was 12 years old and after that everything in my life changed.
I remember hearing this freshman year in high school in 1992 in NYC and we called it Rave or Hardcore. I loved it then, love it now. Changed my life. Trust. 😉
Good bit of modern life: Having all these old tunes available so easily. So we can all relive the happy days. Bad point :going to a rave nowadays and having people holding their phones up filming would annoy the fuck out of me. Live in the moment kids.
how the hell do you expect me to listen to this ?? sitting down !!!! jumping around my living room like i was 18 again ... BERWICK MANOR , MR.B's , RAINDANCE .......... YYYEEEEESSSSHHHH !!!!
Always reminds me of Easygroove Summertime Fantasia.. What i'd give to go back to that night... "Rock with foundation, it's the new generation Easygroove"
The internet happened. Meaning people have had unparalelled access to all the music ever recorded. At the moment people are too busy trawling through the archives, re-living or discovering the past.... not looking to the future. You're missing the massive youth culture change - its people at their computers. It won't last forever. There is only so much music to explore.
Will this truly unique underground sound ever come back again? I mean the early 90s broke boundaries as did the 60s 70s and 80s - so, what happened? from the year 2000 nothing spectacular has happened in music culture. Now we're at the turn of another decade - still nothing, everything just seems to be meshed together with bits of everything else from the past. There hasn't been any kind of massive youth culture change, not like we saw in the previous decades and the 90s - whats going on!?!
I've been feeling this for the last decade, waiting and hoping I'd still be young enough to experience it, if not be a part of it.... And artists using old school breaks isn't what I mean... I want something entirely new and exciting like these tunes were for us back in the day
@@TheJapanfan we’re too old and it won’t make sense! Leave the youth to it. Clever ones will find and appreciate the old tunes, and that’ll influence the new sounds. Leave em to it!
parece que foi ontem que eu escutava esse som num discman a caminho do trampo, ansioso pelo fim de semana, que certamente seria na Sound Factory Penha. 2.020 ta logo ae e vou continuar ouvindo sempre..
