Can’t wait to get my stealth. I beach launch a hobie outback atm… severely limits the days I can go. Even as a life long surfer, swimmer, lifeguard, about 3’ is the max swell size for that kayak.
Ahhh hahahah, that was awesome! I was laughing so hard at the end. “Please don’t let there be a bigger one behind this!” I know that prayer well!! Man, we have big launches here but COMPLETELY different. Similar size, heavier (more top to bottom) but it all breaks on the same bar. Very condensed impact zone. Usually you can just sit on the inside and cork through the whitewater and wait on your shot then shoot out between sets with no fuss. So, easier, but if you time it wrong you are NOT punching though one of the close outs, and you might break your ski. That launch y’all have looks exhausting though! Different kind of difficulty. Well done bro!
I felt it so much with you 😅😅 I am new into kayaking and will have my first wave experience in a couple of weeks in the Atlantic Ocean of Morocco, region Tanger. How was your „exit“ after fishing?
Ummm I’ve launched alot worse before and I’m very composed in these situations. It’s bay behind me and no rip currents so I’m 99.9% sure I wouldn’t have drowned .. with a life jacket … and my mate next to me..and I can swim
That was great. I kept wanting to see you surf those same waves going back in. 🙂
So Intense. I felt every wave sitting my chair...Great video
Wasn’t an easy launch 🤣
Absolutely. Cinematic 🤣
Dude you were in the surf zone for like 7 minutes lmao gnarly
Subscribed! Best launch video I’ve seen on a kayak. Very entertaining and scary stuff! Love this content
Great work! I wouldn’t even attempt that 😂😂😂 Great kayaks, the best fishing kayak in the business!
Best surf launch I have ever seen!
Excellent 😍😍😍it was as if I was on the kayak myself 🤩🤩🤩 Thanks for that 👍🏽

That was awesome!
Well done for guts and persistence mate. That was horrendous! I couldnt even imagine what the return must have been like 😮😯

Launching with the dive charters there at Malongane can be tricky as hell most of the time, even with all the horse power behind you. Well done !!

Tricky but timing is everything
Is it only terrifying at the beginning and afterwards „easier“?
Epic bro. Kept your cool.
Holy shit. That's insain man!! Great work!
That’s bread and butter for a stealth!
Mind blowing
Wow amazing stuff
This is what I came for😂 we South Africans are a different breed😂
Don't tell me, just show me.
Hell that was impressive mate, hope you got that monster Couta!
Just a rat 🤣
@@jazzafishing for real, a rat?
@@LouisF17 a rat means a small fish 🤣
@@jazzafishing 😂 I call them Goldfish here in MU ...
The is so sick 🔥🔥
As a kayak angler from Cape Town, this completely horrified me. Well done with your persistence
Cape Town based kayak fishing is what we will do when we retire 🤣we go through heavy shit to catch fish 🤣👊🏻
@@jazzafishing well we sometimes have to paddle 30km for a Bonnie or two 😂. The bread can't be buttered both sides
@@DanVivier eish that’s a mission. We don’t even keep bonnies 🤣
Good speed after the whitewater! Nice work persisting. 💪🏼💪🏼
Took a while but the gaps weren’t there 🤣
wow that was cool
Mission impossible
wow what an Epic....
No gap!!!! Even with this top surf kayak, this was crazy, such a mission... I wondering how it was on the way back out of the surf😅😅😅😹😹😹😹
Was mellow coming in on the high tide 👌🏻👌🏻
BUIGGGG!!!!
Wow crazy skills to launch in yhose conditions.. Are those electronics waterproof?
Thanks alot mate. Yeah they are but they do take a beating! 😪
Hectic ! Did you get the Couta for your efforts ?
One rat
where is this? i'm in oregon.
Mozambique
@@jazzafishing WOW! how exotic. Do you live there or just holidaying. and is it safe?
@@Ottointtl I used to live in South Africa but immigrated to Ireland 👍
Bit crazy, but I like it 👻
Bravo mate 👏👏. THAT was some gnarly surf. Your skills on the launch were outstanding. Perseverance is top shelf. Were you paddling a 525?
575 🤙🏻the next morning was bigger 👻🤣
As you are going over the wave reach forward and dig that paddle in hard.. stop you losing so much momentum
mate you've lost your mind lol
🤪
That does not really look like fun.
We got some good fish in the end 🤫
Not very bright idea, if you get dumped you will never get back on and you will drown, not clever....

Bloody hell … hope you caught big time after that🫣
