I think the closest English equivalent of the Dutch om+te is 'in order to'. Ze zwemt om gezond te blijven = She swims in order to stay healthy.
@Irsyad Purwanto this sentence is unusual in spoken, more so in written Dutch, but nevertheless can be understood.
