I love the album version (and the whole album!) but this is a whole other animal. In the plugged in version, every time Adam started singing the chorus, I would feel the burn of tears for a moment. With this version, I cried from that point to the end of the song. This is so beautiful and painful in its mixture of contained frustration and quiet hopefulness. Thanks for letting us hear this version.

This describes how I feel the world is right now. I literally just found out about my young daughter’s BFF being abused. Same story as usual, a lonely girl looking to simply be accepted by the wrong group of ppl. It gives me hope that others feel the same way. I don’t want my sisters to suffer anymore. I start at home with how I love my wife and daughters.
