Hello I am doing project of soil pH based crop recommendation system... But as I want to simulate this project, how to that.. Our project outline is to take data from sensor into rpi/arduino and send it to database.. Now with this information we can develope a web page or app Please help
After many days installing/uninstalling different versions of matlab to try to run simulink with arduino uno, only after I saw your tutorial I was able to validate 100%. Congratulations on your attention. Show!!! Great job!!! Now is 10:59h....I've been working since 02:40h and I had sucess !!!! THANK YOU CHRISTOPHER!!!

I have installed simulink support package for arduino hardware, but during hardware setup, download tests fails saying that laptop port and arduino board was not connected.I have tried installing drivers and compiler but still connection was not established between port and the board. What should I do?
Probably I didn't get it but is this a way to run the simulink sketch on Arduino without any connection? I see the usb wire in the video, I don't understand if it is connected just with a power source

Hi Chris, I have a problem: when I go to model settings -> hardware implementation, I am unable to change anything so I can't select the arduino board. What should I do?
hello sir, i think im having an error and i dont know why. can you help? Build process completed successfully Error occurred while executing External Mode MEX-file 'ext_comm': Failed to connect to the target. A time-out occurred while waiting for the connection response from the target. Possible reasons for the time-out: a) The target is not switched on. b) The target is not connected to your host machine. c) The application for the model is not running on the target. You might have clicked the Stop button. If the Run button is not dimmed, click it. Otherwise, click the Build button, which downloads and runs your application on the target. Anyone else getting a problem with the PWM block in simulink not outputting a correct PWM on the appropriate pin on the arduino. Seems like most of my PWM pins aren't working.

Much more powerful program then I first thought
Simulink seems like an incredibly useful tool for controls engineers
are you sure about engineers
It is.
Thanks! No problems so far with following the series
Worked perfectly as instructed! Thank you!
Hello sir, can i just simulate and analyse the waveforms without connecting any hardware component like the microcontroller.
so helpful, thank you
Thank you for posting this introductory video! Helpful!
Great video on using Simulink with an Arduino
thanks for the detailed content. Hats off man
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for getting me started with this great resource!
Excelent work Christopher, tank you!!
Thanks for the perfect tutorial!
if i want to connect 2 arduino 1 uno and the other mega. how i need to chose the parameters ?
thank u sir great explanation vid
Thank u sir....its working my arduino
Hi .... I applying every think you did but the button of Run still inactive gray color ?
Helpful for getting the Simulink support package
Nice explanation, thank you
Hi Chris,
Can we generate a 10KHz PWM signal using simulink support package for Arduino?
Probably I didn't get it but is this a way to run the simulink sketch on Arduino without any connection? I see the usb wire in the video, I don't understand if it is connected just with a power source
Christopher Sir, is it possible for you to demonstrate with a detail video about configuring an I2C device using simulink (prefer MPU6050).

Thank you for the this great tutorial!
Great video!
Very helpful information!
Are you gonna make more videos about matlab + simulink and arduino? Thanks!
Sir..matlab now. Canot add harware suport?do you have licenced??
Thanks for the video, Chris
Very useful video!
Great video, thanks!
These videos are great!
Sir , in MATLAB 2016a its shows some FATAL ERROR while downloading... can this be fixed with the same bug files as u mentioned in the video?
Thank you 😊
Can you please make a video on how to run the model on hardware in the later versions of matlab?
Great introduction!
I didn’t have the Simulink support but now I do so that’s cool I guess
Why is the amplitude set to 1 and not 5(5V) in the pulse generator ?
mine 2014 doesn't had the hardware board section, will it still work?
Great video
thank you so much for your help
Hello my dear; you can look through the command window the active serial ports by typing: seriallist
Hi, I'm using r2023b and I don't have the "External" option. Does that matter?
same problem here
Hi, I have Arduino and im trying to build model using Simulink but I get this error:
Failed to generate all binary outputs.
Hi Chris,
I have a problem: when I go to model settings -> hardware implementation, I am unable to change anything so I can't select the arduino board. What should I do?
I did that but now I cannot change from normal to external :(
@@valentinarojo3450 i have the same problem now, how did you change from normal to external
very useful!

muchas gracias muy útil y claro!
Me alegra que haya sido util. Gracias por ver!
Failed Code generation information file does not exist Matlab error when running simulink model on hardware any solution ?
Failed to run on hardware when I do 😔
Hi very nice
Can you please show how to generate the code for arduino using matlab
Thx Bro. Now we can turn on LEDS through Simulink haha xD
Just kidding, Nice tutorial
I'm glad it was helpful thanks for watching!
interesting stuff!
Feels good to know I'm getting my money's worth on that thing that always gets lumped with matlab
Simulink is cool
My matlab is install in E folder instead C
cool stuff
thanks
In my matlab root I am not seeing the bugreport file
hmmm .. anybody knows how to insert ArduinoIO library into the simulink block in matlab
I have problem with binary code generator ,,😢
Fail to run model on hardware
