Yes, you're right the red is hard to find. They only did the red in the 2018 Ltd. But so HAPPY I found a new one. LOVE the lights you added it looks Awesome! I have pics of my bike on IG. I haven't made a video yet... #ENJOY #ridesafe💯🏍
A very nice looking machine, but... ... what I noticed: The lid of your TopCase does not close properly on the left side. It is higher on the left than on the right. You can also see the distance to the speaker. Here the case might not be tight when it rains.
Not sure if you still have this bike but take notice when closing the rear trunk lid. From the rear the left side prong on the lid will not go into the slot but rides on top of it! You can see how high the lid is on the left side. BRP acknowledges this but will not fix it! Work around is when closing the lid press inward on the leading edge and it will engage properly.
Thank you very much. I really love riding the Spyder. I wish I had more of a chance to do some touring. Maybe next time I take vacation is can ride somewhere. Now it’s just to work or the store. Thank you for subscribing!!
Nice machine. My personal favorite is the RT Champagne Dark. I especially like the darken headlight scheme. I test fit the F-3, but the rider position didn't work for me.
I liked the way you sit into an F3 than on an RT. For me it felt more comfortable. Now the new RT's stance is closer to the F3. The only thing I don't like about the 2019 and above is Can Am removed the turn signals from the back of the mirrors. I think on the 2019 RT they are still there. Thanks for watching. Check out my other videos. Hope to put some more out soon.
@@chill62751 Never knew that about the turn signals, good information. I did see on Slingmods.com they sell kits for this, I guess that would fix it but I am all in on the 2019. I ride from VA to my office in NJ about once a month and think the windshield and heated grips will be a must.
@@SpyderTom1 Not sure which kit on Slingmods you're referring to. You could tap into the turn signal and run an led strip along the mirrors. I've technically done it 4 times on each side. For the 2018's and below they make plug and play harnesses to make this easier. The other issue is I don't know what the power output or amperage of the 2019's or above turn signal lights. They're leds that are mounted with the fender marker lights.
Bill its been a long time coming. I've been looking at Spyders for years. I went to the 3 wheeled course in 2015. It still took another 4 years to actually buy one. I enjoy riding when I can.
@@chill62751 : I had heard about & saw the can am spyder in a commercial yrs ago, but never really looked into it. After having been on RUclips for a number of yrs now, I decided to look it up. Very ingenious idea! I had to Google it to find out exactly what it was.
@@overbank56 They are really good machines. I would say dependable. If you're looking at the RT I would say 2014 and newer. The 998cc engine in the older models wasn't bad but the RTs had a problem directing heat. The 1330cc engine of course has more horsepower and the redesigned cooling fan placement directs heat outward instead of back toward driver and passenger.
I know that this is a bit too late, but the closing fit on that top case lid is a worry, especially the left hand side. Just as bad after your showing the innards, and closing it again. Hopefully you got your dealer to sort that out for you. Great walk around though. Thank you.
Mark Williams wow very close in storage. Makes me wonder what the real differences are. Maybe mostly cosmetic? I like the rt but I would want pegs to be able to stretch my legs out when needed/want to.
@@a.d.c7941 Originally I was going to get an RT Limited after my 3 wheeled course I sat on an F3 Limited and it felt more natural. I think you can get highway pegs for the RT. Take a ride on both.
I hope you thanked your bro for that dash, it's perfect! Hope to pick up an F3L or a RTL in the spring.
Great! You will have a lot of fun. I thank my brother all the time. Thanks for watching!
LOVE your F3 limited... I'm rockin' the exact same trike in the intense red & chrome. #loveit💯🔥🏍
The red is hard to find. Glad you got one. Watch my video on the lights I added to my Spyder. Ride safe and as often as you can. Please subscribe.

It doesn't look like the rear trunk is closed properly. Beautiful machine and great color.

Thank you! I check it a lot now to make sure it is aligned properly.
FYI, left side hinge on your rear top box is miss aligned, there is a big gap towards the front
There sure is. You especially notice it at the 5:10 mark
Nice machine, plenty of storage compartments
She looks good Mr.Williams.

@@chill62751 .you are welcome sir, thanks for showing us that wonderful machine it is the first time i ever saw one and i like what i see.
That color is nice. I will definitely check out the F3 Limited. 👍🏿

It's all about what's comfortable for you. My brother has the RT Limited.
Looks awesome, why the F3 and not the RT? Just curious, I am buying in the fall.

Nice mark my 2019 f3 limited is black I wish brp would use a non metallic black but I’ll fix that ,the dash is beautiful might get one .
Thanks for watching. What do you think of the 2020 RT? A lot of comments say it's a modified F3 or a RT F3 hybrid.
It appears the only difference between 2019 and 2020 f3 limited is the link system ,the RT really needed a facelift .
That is A Nice looking machine!
Thank you! I love riding when I get a chance.

They need to have a front wheel drive or all wheel drive version…
Very nicely done! I really like that red. Unfortunately they didn't have it for my F3 otherwise I would have got it in red.
Thank you! Yeah I don't know why Can Am decided not to do red for 2019. I do like that liquid titanium color. Well it looks good in the pictures.
If you get a chance watch my night ride video.
Very nice looking ride!!! So the rt is bigger than this one?
The RT has slightly more storage area. It's built for touring.
Thank you for your reply!
@@a.d.c7941 According to the Can Am website RT has 41 gallons of storage and the F3 Limited has 36.5 gallons of storage.

I'd like to own one but I'm in South Africa. How much is this beauty?
You can get one for about $20,000 since it's a 2018.
Nice machine, you need to swap your front wheels left to right. Tyres have a directional tread and are rotating the wrong way. 🕷🙃🕷
Thank you. The tire issue was fixed during the first service.
nice bike but does it come with a nail clipper??
That's hillarious! I was thinking the same thing........LMAO
Shaft,chain or belt???
Belt driven
What the cost
My cost was over 20k. Since it's a 2018 the cost for this model year has come down.
